The gamenight runs through the first weekend of the month, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Typically Saturday is the most active. There are usually a few people who are willing to manage the room, and it's not hard too figure out. Somebody will start one and announce it in the thread with the room's name and password. How to set up: Run the launcher, and you will be able to choose a username and password immediately. There's no need for emails or signups. See vid related for how to play. There is also a tutorial available in game. (Create an Arcade Room - Scenario) How do I play it S4 League is a weaboo arena third-person-shooter with gimmicks. Mechanics are fairly straightforward: run, jump, and shoot. The biggest gimmick of all is the wall jump, which you will need to master if you want to move fast and be stylish. Being stylish is very important in this game. Make sure you spend your PENs in the shop so that anons can stare at your ass admire your taste. There are three specific game modes that we'll be playing: >Battle Royale: What it says on the tin. It's All-VS-All, although it often turns into an All-VS-One cheesefest. >Deathmatch: Players are divided into two teams, and whichever gets the most kills wins. Good when there are fewer than 6 players. >Touchdown: This is the real game - sportsball with guns. A minimum of 3v3 is ideal to keep it lively and balanced.

As of writing AMD / Team Red finally got their shit together and released GPU's that aren't unstable, sub-optimal embarrassments - the 9070 & 9070XT are extremely efficient and competitive for gaming at their upper-midrange hardware grade and are much less scalped, but do keep in mind that if you're planning on using it for AIslop, AMD is still lagging behind heavily, and while FSR4 isn't a joke like FSR3, it's not DLAA. Intel is a newcomer with the Arc line of GPU's, aiming at competing at the ultra-budget level. I've been toying with vibe-coding up some different really crappy locally-hosted-only websites to make offline versions of what I frequently visit online. The idea is that the entire internet is basically dead, full of bots, and doesn't let me find what I want anymore. So, if everything online is full of bots, I might as well go full Chobits mode and make my own local internet of bots to interact with. The idea is dead simple. It all works by just using AI bots to generate content at the click of a button instead of waiting for other humans to post on a real website. So, the "offline zzzchan" I'll post there, and then when I want to "refresh the page", I'll click a buttons to generate more posts on all the boards. For the moment, I've two buttons. One is a "Simple" button, which creates really spammy obviously bot replies, but because it's using Markov chains/db calls/state references it's really cheap to generate. The other is a "dedicated" button that fully calls ollama to generate text. The blog works pretty well also. And the Youtube replacement is in the works--at the moment, I just have it generating video transcripts/svg screenshots. It's all relative. Like, yes, it's not great, but the idea is compared to what? The bot-generated Youtube replacement trash is at least better than the real Youtube. I also surprisingly (probably sadly) find the fake offline version of zzzchan a lot more fun to hang out in than the real one. At least so far. Anyways, I figured I might as well make this before the entire Internet shuts down. Just so I at least have a ghost to remember you all by. It's also been nice to have when my internet goes out.

I didn't care much for portable video gaming as a kid, I had one of those bootleg Brick Game things, which I liked, and eventually got a GBA with a few cartridges for it, though I didn't enjoy the dark screen all that much, so I barely played it compared to my home consoles. I play mostly on handhelds nowadays though, the busy days with little time to play, mixed in with the comfort of being able to play while I lay down in bed, has really won me over recently. Any fellow Elona players here? As a Kumiromi-worshipping farmer, I'm still having a lot of fun with the OOMSEST version. I've got autosaves disabled so I can savescum from time to time, but I try not to abuse it too much. I was lucky enough to get the ridiculously good stomach mutation that lets me eat non-food items, helping me free up a lot of item space and develop my attributes and abilities frequently. Not to mention it helps me save money and keep corpses too. Tailoring is some pretty good stress relief. The quality of the robes I craft is random, and whenever I get one I don't want to keep, I can eat it or sell it. Anyway, I'm preparing myself for the upcoming annual "Baby Day", a.k.a. Party Day event on July 24. In case you didn't know, that's when shitloads of Bards spawn in "Party Time" quest instances and you can go on a Bard-killing spree all day long to collect tons of valuable instrument items, music tickets and more.
Okay, I talked to one retired fed about surveillance technology to ascertain where things stand. TLDR: It's bad. Very, very bad. During COVID, the regime tested AI facial recognition software on masked faces. Only ears and eyes were visible, which was the point. The results allowed the regime to streamline recognizing you from just your ears and eyes. There are effectively no barriers that the feds will face in accessing private phone data and even if you keep your cellphone off all the time, you will not be able to drive anywhere or go anywhere without eventually showing up on a database. Everyone who has flown on a plane or worked in any job where they photograph you is in a database. The conclusion to all of this is that, at present, a White insurgency is impossible. Bob Matthews got caught after just a month. And he barely did anything. Today, I don't know if he could have lasted a week. Especially given his absolutely abysmal security consciousness. Only lone wolves could possibly hit one target (and not very effectively since 90% of lone wolves are incompetent) before getting caught. Call me a demoralizer if you wish, but banish from your minds thoughts of storming government buildings with a rifle in teams of 10. Such a cell could not accomplish much before all members were rounded up. So many games nowadays have highly contextual animations and low levels of interactivity that it might not even occur to players that they can even experiment. Does the simple act of adding details and interactions, even if they are considered superfluous and have no effect on how the game is played, spur enough creative thought to get most people past the need for yellow paint? By being so accessible, are developers literally making players stupider?
