What the fuck is it again?
It is a first person cooperative space game heavily inspired by the less gay Star Trek shows (e.g. pre-ENT).
What fucking year is this?
We're going back to 2015, baby! Around eleven years ago, this game was fairly popular on 8/v/ and has been sporadically played on and off since then.
Why the fuck should I play it?
It's literally fucking Barotrauma 3D in Space. If that doesn't make your cock a rock, then go fuck a fist and tickle your prostate in the process because there's a good chance there may be something wrong with it and your health should always come first. If all checks out well, then you're just a fag, which is something that is nearly as important to know about yourself.
I need more than that.
Details may have changed since it's been a while since I've played this, but from what I remember of it:

Time to dig up my old folder. I have some very fond memories of playing this game. There are actually 3 campaigns now. The normal one. A rush like mode where you have an hour to do as much as you can before you fight a boss. And amusingly, one where you are on a sub.

So I've been trying out my HOTAS with the piloting. It's not quite as smooth as I would like it to be because you cannot change "gears" really. The ship works more like a boat than a plane, so if you pull the throttle all the way back you'll reverse instead of stopping. It's a little silly in my opinion, but other than that the controls seem to work.

I hope I'll get a couple people to play tonight.

Isn't EST UTC-4? The desync issues have gotten significantly better btw. They're still there, but it's mostly comedic rather than gamebreaking. For example, on my end the core was ejected whereas it was perfectly fine on the host.

Fuck the Linux version idk wtf is wrong with it. OpenGL gives black screen and Vulkan has null dereference in UnityPlayer.so
wine didn't work at first because I didn't have .NET shit installed. Just nuked the folder so it would ask for shit to install again. Also needed to do chmod +x -R because some directories didn't have x bit set causing IL2CPP to fail. The game runs now at least game is full tho D: oh well, maybe later, gonna nap a bit.
Also needed to do ulimit -n 4096 because a shitton of file descriptors are being opened for some reason. Would get Photon errors otherwise. Though even that isn't enough so I'm 100% sure there's a fd leak somewhere, could explain the audio issue perhaps.

Status: FAILED
We died and it's was iron meme so that was a wrap. God dammit man, I don't remember these sector bosses being as hard as they were but in a way I'm glad. Makes em a real challenge to beat. I did not capture enough picutres this time and I even forgot our game over screen.
I'll try to capture more next time.
We killed bots, bugs, a one man killing machine bounty hunter who chased us down, a gruesome twosome bounty hunt, and even nuked the grim cutlass but it wasn't enough. 
New ship next game. Thinking the Roland or something. Unless you faggots wanna do classic intrepid.
