Recap time!

>Trump buttmad about MoU terms that he keeps violating and trying to undermine and says it's basically dead
>Iran confirms MoU over, since Trump was completely faithless and already declared his unwillingness to follow through
>Full-scale war is back, to stop Iran from having nukes or controlling the Strait of Hormuz
>Hormuz Strait closed, nukes probably being developed now
>Iran bombs the fuck out of US bases in the middle east again, now even totaling American bases in Jordan
>Iran now targeting US military personnel more directly than before, to make Trump to eat more of a loss
>Iran hitting tankers that refuse to work with Iran to get through the Hormuz Strait
>Trump flailing for targets, hits civilian bridges and desalination plants
>Some of the broken bridges are instantly circumvented by civilians driving straight through the dry ground below the bridge in improvised dirt roads.
>Iran retaliates by spreading pain around middle east countries that supported the US military, particularly Kuwait and Bahrain.
>Trump reconsiders crazy escalation, but threatens more escalation anyway, more dumb bombings and retaliations
>Also Yemeni Houthis got an airport bombed by Saudi Arabia trying to attend Khamenei funeral, but managed to attend anyway.
>Bab-el-Mandeb Strait not yet fully closed, but Saudi shipping blocked by Iran-backed Houthis, which are now at war with Saudi Arabia again.
>Israel itching to join war vs Iran again but USA holding them back because they know they'll lose control of the war if Israel enters.
>USA wants new ceasefire and MoU to violate but Iran no longer trusts the USA.
>Trump losing control.
>Marco Rubio mad about Iran lego videos, but claims he hasn't seen them.

Guys, I feel like we've been here before. Were any lessons even learned?

Hey this thread was made 10 minutes earlier.

Anyway, in other news, Lindsey Graham, one of the folks who played a big role in talking Trump into this war, is dead, US army is stepping up recruitment, Israel is trying to recruit evangelicals with literalist Christian "Send me" messaging (and evangelicals are big on shoddy literal interpretations of the bible).

Also we have Houthi vs Saudi war now, which Iran could very well get dragged into 'cause they back the Houthis and the war started because the Saudis were trying to stop them from attending Khamenei's funeral.

Zelensky took the opportunity to hit an Iranian cargo vessel, and Iran responded by pointing out that under international law and the UN charter, Iran reserves the right to self-defense if such attacks continue, which means that if this shit gets more ridiculous we could merge the Middle East War thread and the Ukraine War thread because Iran will be at war with Ukraine too.

It's worth noting that Iran's long-range missiles are definitely capable of hitting targets in Ukraine and I don't think Putin would turn down Iran if Iran were to send soldiers, considering how he even appreciates NK sending soldiers.

Brent crude oil's gone over $100 again. Wonder how much faster it'll rise with Saudi oil also getting blocked at Bab-el-Mandeb Strait by Houthis. Then again Europe might not care. Saudi Arabia can still sell it to them through the Suez canal.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Islamic Republic of Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Strong condemnation of Ukraine's military attack on Iranian merchant ship in the Caspian Sea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the Ukrainian regime's attack on an Iranian merchant vessel in the Caspian Sea on the morning of Saturday, August 25, which caused the ship to explode, killing one sailor and injuring another. This action violates Article 2, Paragraph 4, of the United Nations Charter and is an example of an act of aggression that can further ignite and spread the flames of war.

The Ukrainian regime's attack on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, which has been explicitly claimed by the head of that regime, is a sign of the continuation of the Ukrainian regime's irrational and hostile approach towards the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing that it has never intervened in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, draws the attention of the United Nations Security Council, European countries and all members of the United Nations to the obvious fact that the Ukrainian regime, by attacking an Iranian merchant vessel, not only committed an international violation, but also dangerously seeks to spread the flames of war and insecurity.

Any party concerned about peace and security in Eastern Europe and the surrounding regions must take a responsible stance against this dangerous action by the Ukrainian regime and hold the Ukrainian ruling body accountable for this criminal and provocative action.

The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to defend its national interests and security in accordance with the fundamental principles and rules of international law, especially the principle of self-defense. Obviously, the responsibility for the consequences of the adventurism of the head of the Ukrainian regime will lie with that regime and its supporters and instigators.

>This is the first time we’ve witnessed such an incident, but there’s little hesitation in the strongest messages of condemnation coming from Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reflecting real concern about the potential for such attacks to be repeated.
>
>The ministry first announced that it had summoned a top Ukrainian diplomat and condemned the attack as a violation of the UN Charter.
>
>In a separate statement, the ministry said Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone call with the EU’s foreign policy chief, in which he called on the international community and the UN Security Council to respond to and condemn the attack.
>
>In yet another statement, the ministry went beyond condemnation, warning of what it described as a hostile approach by Ukraine toward Iran.
>
>This is critically important as Iran is already dealing with a US naval blockade that’s putting significant pressure on the country’s maritime trade.

Looks like Iran is really pissed about it. If Zelensky doesn't cool it he will actually be at war with Iran.

In other news, US Dems are still agitating for votes to force Trump to end the war. They are passing in the House of Representatives (and Massie is all out of fucks to give) but the last one failed in the Senate by 47-49. 4 Republican Senators were missing from the vote: 2 that previously voted for such resolutions (Rand Paul of Kentucky and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska) and 2 that previously voted against (Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Katie Britt of Alabama).
>>19678
>If Zelensky doesn't cool it he will actually be at war with Iran.
I strongly suspect that is the intention. If Iran strikes Ukraine directly or even sends soldiers it will be an excuse to get the USA directly involved. And then we have outright war between NATO and Russia, not this "proxy" war nonsense.
Replies: >>19681
>>19680
That doesn't make much sense because the US isn't missing an excuse to get involved and could continue not attacking in Ukraine or Russia to prevent the WW3 scenario this shit is baiting out. Still, can't rule out Zelensky being that stupid/desperate.

I think Zelensky is just hoping to look helpful and useful in order to get more money and support from the west and that he wasn't really contemplating the potential for it to backfire into a full war with Iran. That and I think he's angry at Iran for the Shahed drones that have been raping Ukraine ever since they first got introduced and turned the Ukraine war upside down.
Keep in mind it's very unlikely Ukraine is doing this without the US' explicit blessing.

Ok so i feel like i need to explain to non-italians that they shouldn't take this or any supposed conflict between our PM and the US government seriously.

This is regularly done from the left parties to gain political favor from the citizens, there's not a single serious politician in Italy. Everyone always silently gave their complete support to jewSA since they killed our political caste in the 1980s (https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Italy/Deep_state#Mani_Pulite). The current PM is subscribed to ((( Aspen Institute ))), as every other previous PM, and almost every other politician in parliament (from every political party) is part of 4 or 5 think tanks associated to the US, notably the ((( Italy-USA Foundation ))).
When you see these kind of conflicts you have to assume they're games between the parties to be the ruler as long as they serve america. It's a puppet state made to host US military assets and nukes.

Thanks for the explanation, Italian-bro. May you (and all the rest of us around the world) soon be free of kike/jewsa entanglements!

'Zionist' lists, tourist maps: Italy's Jews warn of widening threat of antisemitism
July 26, 2026

"...The Jewish community learned of an anonymous Google form asking members of the public to report Israeli tourists, Jewish visitors, hotels, businesses, property purchases and projects allegedly connected to what its authors described as "Zionist tourism" and "Zionist neo-colonization" in Italy.

The questionnaire circulated through social media and messaging groups with connections to Milan, although it sought information from across the country. It asked respondents to provide locations, supporting sources, and details about local organizations already addressing what it called the phenomenon.

The form stated that the information would be shared confidentially with the Global Sumud Movement, a pro-Palestinian activist network that denied creating, commissioning, or knowing about the form when it appeared in press reports..."

Violating oil tanker explodes in Strait of Hormuz after hitting naval mine: Report
July 26, 2026

"...An oil tanker has exploded in the Strait of Hormuz after it deviated from a shipping route designated by Iranian authorities, according to Iranian media, as the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) intercepted six vessels for attempting illegal transit through the strategic waterway.

The Iranian news outlet Defa Press reported on Sunday that the tanker struck a naval mine after deviating from the route specified by Iran for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The report described the vessel as a "violating tanker", noting that Iranian authorities had previously warned that ships deviating from the designated corridor would bear responsibility for any consequences.

The report did not identify the vessel, provide details on its ownership or destination, or indicate whether there were casualties or environmental damage..."

Yemen hit three Saudi-linked tankers in two days: Report
July 27, 2026

"...Yemen's armed forces have targeted three Saudi oil tankers over the past 48 hours, a special source told Al-Mayadeen, signaling a complete severing of Saudi oil export routes through the strategic Bab el-Mandeb strait.

The source revealed that 16 Saudi vessels have been forced to turn back after being denied passage from Monday through Sunday, underscoring the operational reach of Yemen's maritime enforcement capabilities.

"Since the imposition of the Yemeni blockade, not a single Saudi oil vessel has passed through Bab el-Mandeb, neither outbound nor inbound, up to this moment", the source told Al-Mayadeen, in a statement.

The Bab el-Mandeb strait, connecting the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean, is one of the world's most critical maritime chokepoints, through which millions of barrels of oil transit daily.

The maritime blockade was announced earlier this week as a direct response to the 12-year Saudi-led siege of Yemen, which has strangled the country's ports, devastated its economy, and inflicted what the United Nations has described as one of the world's worst humanitarian crises..."

BTW, this is apparently the world's single-largest oil-processing facility. When (not if) it's taken offline that will be a bfd for ME oil supplies.

Houthis target eastern Saudi Arabia's oil facilities for first time since 2019
July 27, 2027

"...The extent of the damage to Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities has not yet been released by Saudi authorities.

What is clear is this marks the first time the Houthis have targeted oil infrastructure in eastern Saudi Arabia – namely Petroline, the 1,200km [750-mile] pipeline carrying crude from the kingdom’s eastern fields to the Red Sea port of Yanbu since 2019.

Since disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, Saudi Arabia has leaned more heavily on this route now, moving up to 5 million barrels a day through it, up from about 1 million previously..."

Unless the US does in fact have a secret stash of Gundam Mobile Suits, I don't see this working. To be able to pull something off like this with real world tech you have to own the territory, at least temporarily. Mideast oil may soon have no way out amid 'everything everywhere all at once' wars, but the crisis in refined products is even worse
July 27, 2026

"...Fighting across the oil-producing world is catching up with energy markets, which could soon be choked off by multiple chokepoints and shortages.

Over the weekend, the U.S. and Iran have paused their attacks on each other in the Persian Gulf while they engage in diplomacy. Iran and Oman are also in separate talks to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

But the U.S. and Iran's neighbors are unlikely to accept any deal that recognizes Tehran's control over the narrow waterway.

Meanwhile, Iran-backed Houthi rebels are threatening ships in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which Saudi Arabia has relied on to export its oil and bypass the Strait of Hormuz.

Ships can get around the Bab el-Mandeb Strait by using the Suez Canal to enter or exit the Red Sea, but it can't accommodate the largest oil tankers. There's also a risk that Iran could try to strike the Suez Canal too..."

US uses commercial ships in Strait of Hormuz for military purposes: Iran
July 27, 2026

"...Iran has warned vessels against using unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz, noting that the United States is using commercial ships for military purposes.

"From the very beginning, we said that the southern route is unsafe. The United States, assuming that Iran was busy with the funeral of the Leader, took action to divert ships from the northern route to the southern route. The US must be held accountable for this, and also for the fact that it uses commercial ships within the framework of its military objectives", Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday.

His remarks came a day after an oil tanker exploded in the Strait of Hormuz after it deviated from a shipping route designated by Iranian authorities.

The Iranian news outlet Defa Press reported on Sunday that the tanker struck a naval mine after deviating from the route specified by Iran for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Noting that US President Donald Trump doesn’t attach any credibility to his signature on the Islamabad memorandum of understanding (MoU), the spokesman said, "America has acted more like a mafia gang in recent months. As long as America insists on this action, nothing special or positive will happen".

Commenting on new UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s decision to grant the US access to its territory for anti-Iran strikes and the expected US-UK meeting on the Strait of Hormuz, Baghaei said: "We expected the new British government to act more wisely than the previous one, but unfortunately we saw that in practice it followed the same path - maybe even worse"..."

Saudi Aramco closes Jazan oil refinery after damaging attack
July 28, 2026

"...Saudi Aramco shut down its 400,000 barrels per day Jazan oil refinery on July 27 following an attack by Yemen’s Houthis on Saturday, Reuters news agency reports.

Citing a memo by the consultancy IR, it said the attack damaged the integrated composite gasification cycle complex and the oil tank area, adding that Aramco will complete repair work and initially restart the refinery by August 15.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said on Saturday the group succeeded in targeting Saudi Aramco sites in Jizan and Yanbu, underscoring the expansion of the war in the Middle East which has disrupted global energy supplies.

A video circulated on social media and verified by Reuters showed a plume of smoke rising from the Jazan refinery..."

Iran knows the USA is almost out of weapons. At this point goading the USA to use more is just baiting tactical mistakes that will further weaken its military position. And if not they can get American troops and military bases while they're underdefended and hitting American bases with impunity will further diminish the US military's standing in the world stage.

I think Iran's main plan is to do so much damage to the US military that the US can no longer do shit even if they want to, because it's a given that the US wants to.

Strait of Hormuz will not reopen as long as US threats and interference continue: IRGC
July 30, 2026

"...The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed as long as US threats and interference in the region persist.

In a statement on Thursday, the IRGC announced that two oil tankers attempted to leave the "unsafe southern route" of the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday night after being prompted by US aircraft.
It said one of the tankers caught fire, prompting both vessels to quickly reverse course.

"The Strait of Hormuz is our territory, and the brave men of the IRGC Navy firmly control it. No outsider who has come from thousands of kilometers away will be allowed to interfere", the statement said.

It added that, "With the help of Almighty God, the aggressor will be punished today".

The IRGC also warned countries it said were assisting the aggressor, saying they would face consequences if they did not change their conduct.

"Countries that are involved in assisting the aggressor, if they do not correct their behavior, will receive a harsh response"; it said.

"The Strait of Hormuz is not reopenable as long as the excessive rhetoric and threats by US officials and their interference in maritime movements in the region continue, and threats and interventions will make the situation more difficult and more complicated", the IRGC said..."

Retaliatory strikes destroy three F-35 jets at US-run Jordan base: IRGC
July 30, 2026

"...The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said it launched a ballistic missile strike on US-run Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan's Azraq, destroying three American F-35 fighter jets and heavily damaging three others in retaliation for a US airstrike that killed three members of a family on Iran's Qeshm Island.

The IRGC's public relations office issued the statement on Thursday, addressing the "honorable and discerning people of Jordan".

It thanked Jordanians for their "sincere support and cooperation", particularly the "clear positions" taken by some Jordanian elites, saying their stance had increased pressure on the United States.

The statement noted that the United States launched an airstrike before dawn using "occupied bases" in Jordan after being unable to confront Iran in direct war.

The IRGC said US forces targeted two residential homes in the Chah Tangu neighborhood of Qeshm Island with heavy bombs, killing a father, a mother and one of their children while wounding two other children. Two other children survived the attack and were taken to hospital for treatment..."

The Egyptian cabinet said on Thursday that an initial investigation showed that an unidentified drone caused a fire on Wednesday on two vessels at Damietta port, near the Suez Canal, which links the Mediterranean to the Red Sea.

It said no party had claimed responsibility and authorities were taking measures to protect Egypt's national security.

Trading sources familiar with the incident said the drone struck the US-owned gas storage tanker Energos Winter, sparking a fire that spread to another vessel..."

Yeah but it looks like they've manipulated Trump into it before he was ready.

>The US didn't care about reigning in Israel.and actually achieving peace.
Same with how US wouldn't restrain Ukraine to try to make peace with Russia. The US, particularly under Trump, is just agreement incapable. The other side always has to follow the agreement 100% and is subject to more at any point but the US treats its side of agreements as more like guidelines than actual rules.

The entire western world has this issue, to be honest. Europe does it too, to a lesser but still severely problematic extent. They're drunk on the conceit that they are the leaders of the world who get to set the standards by which the world is judged. They're also politicians who frequently made their way into office by lying and making promises they had no intention of fulfilling and are thus frequently confused by other powers demanding they fulfill their promises when they say "I know we had a promise, but circumstances changed" whenever it is convenient for them while demanding that the other side maximally uphold their side of the bargain.

They're basically spoiled, entitled people who are used to getting away with bullshit and they're having difficulty adjusting to a world that is catching up to them and unhappy with their games.

Iran targeting 'staging grounds of future US operations'
July 31, 2026

"...Ali Akbar Dareini, a Tehran-based researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies, says Iran is trying to preempt any future attacks by the US in current targeting in the region.

"Iran's strategists have come to the conclusion that they need to increase the costs for Trump to end the war", Dareini told Al Jazeera.

Citing Iran’s recent claimed attack on a US military base in Jordan, Dareini said Tehran believed Washington was amassing equipment there in preparation for a major attack.

He said Iran was unwilling to let the US dictate the terms of the war moving forward.

Iran does not want to "allow the US to decide when to start the war, when to pause temporarily and when to restart the war", he added. "Iran is now targeting the staging grounds of future operations"..."

Does anyone else think the US targeting that girl's school on the first day of the war was a terrible strategic propaganda mistake for them? Usually you see reports during these Western military (or Israeli military) vs middle-easterner wars constantly emphasizing how WE do precision strikes while THEY are cowards that attack civilians because they cant touch our military, but beyond a few news reports in the first week that sort of thing has been completely absent from what I've seen.

Israel has never really given a fuck about looking like they do precision strikes they just gas light everyone. It was a mistake for America however both for their supposed strategy inside Iran and to the broader world it has shown this war to be completely unjust and galvanised hostility from inside and out of Iran to this stupid fucking war.
>>19846
It's a terrible strategic mistake because they were originally hoping to galvanize Iran's rebellious population to rise up against the government and get regime change going. By bombing schoolchildren, you immediately piss away the "we're on the side of the Iranian civilians" narrative by making it clear you treat them as a target of war, and that in turn dramatically strengthens the Islamic regime's "we're the protectors of the innocent" narrative which has been full fucking bullshit... until they were up against the USA who spend too much of the war attacking innocents. The islamic regime runs on the whole "we are the martyrs who are protectors of the innocent and oppressed" story and it has been full fucking bullshit in the eyes of their own people until the USA suddenly started legitimizing the fuck out of it.

Instead of getting to do airstrikes from above, decapitation, and rebellions from within, they got too many airstrikes from above hitting non-military or government targets, a decapitation that the regime survived, and the people rallying around the flag desperately because they know the USA is out to fuck them over and the government is the only thing protecting them from turning into another bombed-out lawless shithole.

The amount of popular will for rebellion in Iran is fucking massive and the USA completely pissed away this enormous strategic advantage.

Meanwhile Iran is filled with revolutionary groups that haven't done shit because they are keenly aware that at this hour revolution will result in a war of "liberation" where the likes of the USA, Saudi Arabia, and Israel will completely wreck Iran into a failed state. But you have enough hotheaded "something's gotta give" folks and monarchist nitwits that want revolution no matter what because they believe the consequences will just sort themselves out positively once their good monarch befriends the USA (which to many Iranians is a return to a US puppet monarchy that they overthrew with good reason, even if the Islamists were the wrong faction to take power in the wake of that) that you can actually make some serious chaos happen if you galvanize them properly. But of course, the USA failed to do that because their strategies and tactics were hot garbage.

The letter that tore the mask off US occupation of Jordan
July 31, 2026

"...Hundreds of Jordanian public figures have finally said what the kingdom’s rulers desperately hoped would remain unspoken. They publicly named the price of foreign military entanglement.

Their late July open letter demanding the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Jordan is a fierce indictment of a political order that traded sovereignty for dependency.

The force of this declaration stems from the breadth of the coalition behind it. Signatories include former ministers such as Amjad Hazza al-Majali, 90-year-old activist Sufyan al-Tell, lawyers, academics, tribal chiefs, and retired military officers.

Leftists, Islamists, and establishment insiders all stand together. That alignment is rare. It proves frustration over foreign troop deployments is a national consensus the regime can no longer contain.

The letter is blunt where Amman has long been evasive. It explicitly demands the evacuation of all foreign troops and the cancellation of the 2021 defense agreement with Washington.

That pact was enforced by royal decree. It bypassed the National Assembly entirely, stripping the Jordanian people of their constitutional right to oversight.

The agreement granted roughly 4,000 American troops free entry, the right to carry weapons, and unchecked movement across facilities like Muwaffaq Salti Air Base and King Faisal Air Base.

Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi routinely insists there are no American bases in the kingdom. But a state that allows a foreign power to stock, stage, and launch military operations from its territory has outsourced its strategic independence. It is an occupation hidden behind legal semantics.

The signatories demand the neutralization of all national infrastructure. They refuse to let Jordanian airports and military bases serve as logistical nodes in the aggressive U.S.-Israeli war against Iran and the broader region..."

Very much so, but they are not exclusively external to the country.

>Internal revolutionary groups if there are any are most likely the reform kind pushed into revolution which you don't motivate by fucking bombing them.
No, there are old revolutionary groups from the revolution where the Islamists seized power and sidelined the rest and before that went underground and new ones too, not just disillusioned reformists but people who never really bought into the Islamic regime to begin with, although they'd still support reform in a "hey if it works it's progress" kind of way. But to be honest, the real revolutionary groups have all been expecting that any attempt at revolution will end in mass bombing, invasion, and attempted balkanization with the goal of breaking Iran into a thoroughly neutralized, incapable, and irrelevant non-power. The serious revolutionaries are actually more concerned with the consequences of their actions instead of taking it on faith. Taking it on faith that if you revolt the results will turn out well is how the islamists came to power in the first place.

So long as the US threatens all the maritime traffic coming out of the Persian gulf, it's still a problem that needs solving. The question is whether Iran will just harass them into leaving by peppering them with small attacks until their expended defensive capacity makes them leave, try to actually destroy them, or wait out the situation and let the US take responsibility for the blockade situation with their own blockade while the economic and political damage piles up until the US reconsiders.

Inside Yemen's target bank: Why Saudi Arabia's critical infrastructure is sitting on a tinderbox
July 28, 2026

"...As Saudi Arabia persists in its unprovoked military aggression against Yemeni civilian infrastructure, the Yemeni armed forces and Ansarullah resistance movement have prepared a comprehensive target bank of critical Saudi infrastructure, ranging from oil processing facilities and export terminals to desalination plants and aviation hubs.

The Saudi regime's continued aggression against Yemen, including the July 13 airstrike on Sana'a International Airport and subsequent attacks on Hudaydah province and Kamaran Island, has compelled the Yemeni armed forces to activate their strategic deterrent capabilities.

President Mahdi al-Mashat of Yemen's Supreme Political Council has made clear that an unconditional halt to Saudi Arabia's illegal blockade and aggression is the only solution to end the hostilities, while Ansarullah spokesman Mohammed Abdul Salam has warned that Riyadh's refusal to accept realities on the ground will carry serious consequences for the kingdom's security and economy.

The Yemeni response has already begun with ballistic missile and drone strikes against Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu, achieving accurate and direct hits that have once again demonstrated the reach and precision of Yemeni military capabilities.

The declared maritime blockade on Saudi shipping through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, coordinated with the existing closure of the Strait of Hormuz for the US and allied vessels, represents a dual-pronged strategy capable of severing two of the world's most critical energy arteries simultaneously.

This strategic reality demands an examination of the target bank that Yemen has at its disposal, a catalog of Saudi infrastructure whose disruption could impose unacceptable costs on Riyadh..."

Not necessarily, but eventually they have to go yes, so either the US just up and leaves because of the economic and political cost or Iran has to take them out. The benefit to not taking them out is that it saves munitions and lets the US eat more of a political and economic cost from the blockade, but Iran could easily keep going even without the US's second blockade, although politically it's more justifiable when you have the USA also blocking the place. On the other hand, it's a big prize to knock out American aircraft carriers and even if you just harass them into leaving you are necessarily depleting more interception capabilities and giving them a hard time for causing trouble.

Part of the question is how well Iran can hit the carriers with their newly enhanced hypersonic missiles.

Iran has demonstrated time and again that they can wait. Blockade would eventually yield a victory for the US but not before the world descends into turmoil and the Iranians know that. Iran has missiles moving at several times the speed of sound that are accurate enough to hit a target with less than 1 meter of being off-target and they even do mid-air maneuvers to make it impossible to predict their ballistic trajectories for interceptors.

I wouldn't be surprised if Iran does have or is quickly catching up to that technology. It's pretty well known at this point that they are getting assistance from Russia and China when it comes to missile technology and it's not like either of them will complain if Iran takes out a US aircraft carrier. That's 1 less problem for them. 2 less problems if Iran manages to take out both of the aircraft carriers.

Another open question is whether Iran is capable of fractional orbital bombardment. The current Iranian Fattah-2 missiles are demonstrating capabilities that are a hair's breadth removed from that, going right up to the top of the atmosphere where the air resistance is barely present but not quite exiting it, suggesting that Iran could do it if they wanted to. If Iranian missiles are capable of exiting the atmosphere, all bets are off and they can strike pretty much anywhere on the globe. Fuel is a minimal concern where there is no air resistance to slow your missile down.

Iran is currently pretending its missiles have 2000 km range, but by all indications that is a self-imposed political limit, not a military constraint.

I like where this anon's plan is going in this regard:

---

> "For optimal effect you factor in the average 40 minute commute in New York and launch your fastest available devices to impact 50 minutes ahead of market open that way you create maximum panic as everyone and their mother is getting screamed at while they're stuck in the train or still having breakfast.
> Then as market opens your propeller driven drones start raining down which gums up the works further.
> Go
> -Radars
> -Interceptors
> -Tankers
> -Hangers
> Rinse and repeat for 4 hours then clean up and have a nap while the cope bombing starts.
> Each day flip a coin. If it lands tails you keep doing it.
> On weekends have Hamas and Hezbollah clean up tanks and iron dome systems.

>Long term the Iranians will just use the fact that they are a connected landmass to pivot their own trade away from the sea while still holding it hostage.
Unless Iran starts building pipelines, which is neither cheap nor quick, they need massive tankers for the fuckhuge amounts of oil that they're selling. Moving it by land can only move a small fraction of oil exports. The alternative Iran has is mainly to start exporting other shit to make money.

For now, Iran can probably survive off of financial assistance if it has to, since for countries like Russia and China investing into Iran is a pretty cost-effective way to do a lot of damage to the USA. Iran is also receiving humanitarian donations because of all the damage civilians took in the war.

>Maybe the horseshoe theory has some credence after all, since brain-damaged libshits behave the same way with their safespace infobubbles.
What libshits and conservatards have in common is that they believe the USA (and EU) and its "values" are inherently superior. They simply express it in a different way.
They both are unable to imagine being inferior or even losing to a foreign culture. I suspect this is why so many of them seem to be fine with mass immigration: they don't even view them as a threat (as opposed to their "fellow whites").
Replies: >>19924 >>19929

Incidentally this is also a big part of what makes the western world agreement incapable. Since they believe their own principles and values to be superior it's a one-way street when it comes to honoring commitments because if they can spin a values-based rationale then they think they're just automatically in the right to renege on promises but others would automatically be in the wrong to do the same thing. Actually the superiority complex extends beyond thinking their values superior. They think their word is innately valuable regardless of how they fail to uphold it while others must prove the worth of their word to the letter with them. And they think that they are the world leaders who get to set the rules for others to play by because they are the greater powers.

I think there's also a problem where people vastly overestimate the strength of the the US military (and other institutions). They mistake powerful for invincible. It's very similar to how early to mid 20th century pop culture depictions of dinosaurs often made them into invincible monsters instead of just large dangerous animals. Like in real life a Tyrannosaur outside you house would be a serious issue but it wouldn't immune to bullets. Both are effectively examples of "kaiju thinking".

The US is even today a strong military and if completely unleashed could do substantial damage to a country but that doesn't meant that it can just automatically win if it were to "take things seriously". People don't get that wars aren't won by tallying up who killed the most people or who blew up the most shit. People don't get the concept of winning objectives. They also don't get that a weaker opponent can win by outlasting you or by harassing you into leaving. And they don't get Pyrric victories either; They don't get that you can crush an an enemy but take an injury that will in turn be your undoing. It's why out in nature you see bears running from house cats. A bear could smash a cat but in the process it might take a wound to the eye or the mouth or a paw that will lead to a slow miserable death by infection or starvation and so it' simply not worth getting into a dick measuring contest with a small angry ball of fur and claws.

OIL PRICE DISCONNECT: KEY DATA POINTS (AUG 4, 2026)

>1. SPOT PRICE (Brent Crude Futures)
   - Current Price: ~$79.25 per barrel
   - Market: Paper/Futures (London & New York exchanges)
   - Nature: A financial construct, not the price of physical oil being delivered today.

>2. PHYSICAL PRICE (Real Oil Being Unloaded)
   - Estimated Price: ~$140 per barrel or higher
   - Location: Physical tanker markets, direct spot sales.
   - Drivers: War risk premiums, surging tanker freight rates, supply chain chaos, and sanctions arbitrage.

>3. THE CRITICAL DISCONNECT
   - The "Paper" price (futures) is significantly lower than the "Real" price (physical).
   - War risk and logistics costs are NOT reflected in the $79.25 futures price.
   - The futures market is converting the probability of disruption into a paper price, not reflecting the actual cost of moving a barrel today.

>4. RETAIL IMPACT (At the Pump)
   - Despite lower crude futures, retail gasoline prices have NOT fallen proportionally.
   - The Jones Act waiver has resulted in profiteering by foreign tankers.
   - The savings from lower crude are being absorbed by middlemen and the supply chain.
   - The real cost at the pump is disconnected from the spot price.

>5. KEY CAUSES OF THE DISCONNECT
   - High War-Risk Insurance: Premiums have soared, passed directly to physical prices.
   - Surging Freight Rates: VLCC rates for U.S.-China routes can exceed $70,000/day.
   - Shadow Fleet & Waivers: U.S. sanctions waivers have incentivized a parallel "dark fleet" market.
   - "Secret Mission" Distortion: The administration's release of non-Iranian crude from the Gulf capped futures, but didn't lower retail prices.

>6. THE BOTTOM LINE
   - The $79.25 spot price is a fiction that does not reflect the true economic cost of oil.
   - The real cost is ~$140 or more.
   - American consumers will eventually pay this inflated real price at the pump.
   - This is a direct result of systemic market manipulation and a broken transmission mechanism between paper markets and physical reality.

US and Israel have apparently been considering a land blockade on Iran. From what I can tell the idea is that US and Israel bombard the fuck out of Iran's land trade routes to cripple land trade along with the Hormuz trade in order to drive Iran's economy into a corner. There's also a few articles mentioning partnerships (ie investment) between the main shipyard and Hyperloop One. I can't find anything about any groundbreaking, but smoking craters will absolutely put plans on hold.

The other thing I was considering was if Trump and co were finally deranged enough to hit something genuinely toxic, and deny the Strait to everyone, altogether. Like you posted, if say a nuke plant (which the above is not) or a suitable chemical depot were to leak, they could cut off land traffic and try to squeeze the Iranians during the cleanup. > Reuters: Iran warned Gulf states that any further U.S. attacks on its territory would lead to a response against energy infrastructure and American assets throughout the Gulf.
> Aug 5 (Reuters) - Iran has warned Gulf states that any new U.S. attack on its territory would trigger retaliation against critical energy infrastructure across the region, according to five sources, as Tehran seeks to raise the cost of military action by threatening Washington's closest regional allies.
> Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and other countries in the region to pressure Trump to avoid military action and return to the diplomatic path.
> "The Iranian warning was unequivocal: if America targeted Iran's infrastructure, they would retaliate by striking Gulf energy facilities and other regional targets," one Gulf source said.

He's always like that. It isn't clear how he seized power because there were so many princes ahead in line of him and more powerful. Since he's extremely fond of Trump, it seems that he made a deal to do whatever America wants in exchange for becoming the first king of the third generation of the royalty. And he imprisons or kills everyone that is against that, including members of his own family, he is purely materialistic. What a sad state of affairs, that oil got turned against us.

The Saudis had their chances years ago when they had forces in Western Yemen supported by aerial attacks. Its been years now that the Houthis have been able to retrench in anticipation of further attacks. In fact, the Houthis were doing cross border raids after initially kicking the Saudis out and stopped when the Saudis showed no intention of going back. >It's called truth social
>It's actually a bullshit factory.
Trump is serving up more slop from said bullshit factory. He is claiming that the U.S. has "massive amounts of munitions" and that "defense companies are building the largest number of plants and factories in our country's history." It is a lie so transparent, so absurd, and so easily disproven that it would be laughable if it were not so dangerous.
He is trying to spark up a new shared fantasy and everyone can see how blatantly fictional and disingenuous it is.
https://vaknin-talks.com/transcripts/7_Phases_of_Shared_Fantasy_Narcissist_Needs_YOU_to_Make_Him_Great_Again/

He is calling Iran "dishonest," the leakers "treasonous," and the media "fake news." He is actively devaluing everything that contradicts his narrative.
He is trying to force the world to agree that the war was a success, that his decisions were right, and that any failure is someone else's fault. He is trying to hand over the responsibility for HIS OWN FAILURE to others.
His increasingly frantic, desperate, and contradictory statements are a sign of the anxiety he is feeling. He is stuck with a devalued "introject" (the reality of the failed war) inside his own mind, and he is desperately trying to force the external world to change so that his internal fantasy can be restored. It won't.

The reality is that child fucking pedrump is desperately trying to hand over the devalued "introject" of the Iran war to the American people, the media, and his political opponents. He wants them to own the failure and to admit they were "wrong" about the war, that they are "treasonous" liars, that they are the ones who have "lost." He wants to force reality to agree with his fantasy so he can be free of the "bad" part of himself that is the war's failure. It's not working and the Pedophile is trapped in a psychological storm of torment of his own making.

Tehran is signaling that it has moved from survival to asserting dominance, deliberately provoking a crisis to shatter any remaining U.S. credibility. This is a strategic gamble that relies on the belief that the U.S. is a paper tiger with no stomach for a real fight.

>Iran's aggressive rhetoric and willingness to hit U.S. bases, Gulf oil infrastructure, and Israeli targets are designed to project strength. By visibly dictating the pace of the war, Tehran seeks to shatter the illusion of U.S. military dominance, making it clear that it is not afraid of the U.S. military and will escalate if provoked.

>Iran’s strategy involves making the region unlivable for its enemies. This includes forcing a "human shield" scenario by embedding its strategic assets in densely populated civilian areas. A scorched earth campaign could involve pre-emptive strikes on U.S. allies, hitting Saudi oil fields, or using its proxies to flood the region with chaos.

>If Iran decides to "fuck shit up," it might accelerate its nuclear program to the point of a test or a "breakout." This would present the U.S. with a devastating choice: accept a nuclear-armed Iran or launch a catastrophic strike. Iran’s goal would be to force the U.S. into an impossible dilemma, shattering its own credibility in the process.

>Iran could escalate its economic warfare, raising the price of oil, threatening the stability of the global economy, and using the Houthis to close the Bab el-Mandeb. By weaponizing the global energy supply, Iran would make the war everyone's problem, putting immense pressure on the U.S. and its allies.

Apparently reports are coming out that the underlying "threat" was kike lies and US intelligence considered it as not good enough for their standards. Not only did he single handedly made himself a coward of the worst sort despite previous assassination attempts it was explicitly based on said kike lies.

All according to kikeiku IMO. The yidsrael cabinet knows they can play Blumpf like a fiddle a hundred ways to Sunday. Attacking his fear to set him up for humiliation, then hounding on that afterwards to trigger his pride is the surest way to keep the jewSA doing ((( their ))) dirty work against the Persian chads.

Of course they are going to try, they have been preparing this for a while while vehemently denying it, just like they did the vax and goyvid they are also going to draft you, there they will also vax. With drones average life expectancy is about 5-30minutes for the average grunt. The jews are planning on zapping a whole bunch of people end up in blood piles commanded by the dumb ignorant human scum pic related. Remember when you knew about covid 4 months in advance? This is the same thing.
>inb4 coping
>inb4 I won't be personally affected
>they wouldn't DARE
>I'm too old ("they wouldnt just change the rules trust me and the government bro")
There are absolutely no copes left. If you cope you choose your fate to die as a worthless goyim slave in their hands so It's time to think, nothing about this entire system is fair or will ever be fair as long as it stands now.

There are two choices:
a) if people do nothing about this they will end up in a puddle of exploded body parts in the desert to a 100$ drone or
b1) escape b2) die on your feet where you get to decide.

I doubt that your mom or dads raised you to get exploded by a drone worth 100$ this is something that everyone should understand. If they put you on some kind of list for not agreeing with the narrative (see palantir) or just being poor you are doubly in danger as they are definitely planning on sending you to any dumb pointless meat wave attack just so the evil regimes can get rid of you. Within this framework the small letters are obvious that jews may target you specifically and send their goons to your home under what they naively think is a "just cause".

This will not be an only american issue, as they have wider plans. You get to come pre-prepared or you choose not to and get exploded. The time is now. Remember when things really heat up regular normie vaxies are going to snitch on you and all your bank accounts is going to shut down until you submit to die for epstein(see ukraine).

In September Google will start locking down androids in a few countries, and it will expand to US and Europe in late 2027, early 2028, I do not think Google is doing this because they want to pivot to a high quality brand like Apple, this is going to kill android phones across the world, the US government wants to limit the population's ability to communicate with each other, and because US can easily block sales of Huawey and Xaiomi phones, the average american is screwed.

Given what's happening >>20124 >>20180 I think the US will have a military mutiny or a general civilian rebellion when or maybe even before that takes place. We are not the society economically, socially, morally, or in manufacturing proficiency that we were at the start of WWII. Or hell even what we were at the beginning of Vietnam. Trump has amusingly sped up the crash of the US by decades with his second term.

Well what did the jewS forces expect to happen when they attacked the country (Iran) during negotiations? That they would just let think go on as before the war?

Also, I wonder what must be going on in the USS Washingtion's crew's minds rn. Do we have anything else covering for China rn? If not, seems like this would be a prime time for the Chinese to paddle across the strait into Taiwan?

Iran Army chief announces $30,000 bounty for killing or capturing US troops
August 16, 2026

"...Iran’s Army Commander-in-Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, has announced a financial reward for anyone who kills or captures an aggressor US soldier, declaring that the era of American military presence in the Persian Gulf is permanently over.

Speaking at a ceremony honoring National Journalist Day, General Hatami revealed a new initiative backed by public crowdfunding campaigns, where Iranian citizens donate money to support the armed forces for defense operations.

Under this plan, any individual who kills or captures a US soldier and hands them over to authorities will receive a reward of 5 billion Tomans (approximately $30,000).

General Hatami added that courageous Iranian women who accomplish this feat will receive double the reward.

Furthermore, the weapon used in the operation will be purchased by the Army at twice its market value and permanently displayed in a dedicated museum..."

Jej, good one.

Not too sure about the idea of singling out women for reward though. A) How will such acts affect the morale of Iranian men, and B) is such a thing hadith -compatible ?

USS Benfold Was Stalled in the South China Sea for Four Days After Engineering Casualty
August 14, 2026

"...Guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG-65) spent four days in the South China Sea without power after an engineering failure, USNI News has learned.

Benfold suffered the engineering casualty resulting in a loss of power last month, Cmdr. Matthew Comer, spokesperson with U.S. 7th Fleet, told USNI News in a statement.

"On July 24, 2026, while conducting routine operations in the Indo-Pacific, Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) reported an engineering casualty involving its generators, causing a loss of power", reads the statement. "There were no injuries to the crew, who demonstrated resilience, grit, professionalism and unwavering steadiness in their response".

The loss of power meant sailors were without galley services, toilets and air conditioning. Potable water was also affected, Comer said. He did not respond to a question about how sailors handled waste..."
