US has lost control of the Bab al-Mandab Strait and Trump and Netanyahu are both poised to lose elections. So what's been happening?
>Yemeni Houthis/Ansar Allah took the Yemeni coast and Bab al-Mandab Strait is now controlled by them, with Saudi Arabia's shipping being blocked
>In fact, Saudi Arabia got BTFO'd by Houthis so badly they had to call for help
>Pakistan replied that their defense treaty does not cover a preexisting condition (they actually did this)
>SA got desperate and paid Pakistan and Turkey hefty sums to get more involved anyway, so now they did
>Houthis still winning though
>Riyadh Airport (Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia) is getting shuttered due to Houthi strikes. Houthis cite that the airport is dual-use (meaning, it is both a civilian and military airport) as the reason for their strikes.
>Saudi Arabia's Al-Ghawar oil field, accounting for about 30% of SA's oil production, has been struck by Houthi missiles and drones
>With Houthis being a close ally of Iran's (some argue proxy, others ally, but Houthis didn't join the war on Iran's side until Saudi Arabia once again attacked them, so I say ally), US has now lost control of two straits controlling oil flows, with a bonus possibility of striking the Suez Canal, and so the price of oil has gone up, especially as Saudi Arabia's oil is getting blocked and blown up
>Meanwhile, Israel has been receiving 40,000+ tons of bombs to try to carpet bomb Iran into oblivion, but hasn't made a move yet and Iran will obviously retaliate by hitting all US friends and allies in that case
>The two US aircraft carriers left the Strait of Hormuz and turned up in Arabian Sea instead after Iran began lobbing anti-ship ballistic missiles and drones at them
>US sending an additional aircraft carrier and another 20,000 marines to the middle east
>Israeli polls projecting likely deadlock at this point, but who knows what'll happen. Netanyahu stealing elections or trying to force another state of emergency is not out of the question. Netanyahu already claimed Iran is liable to attack Israel before elections, even though for Iran watching Netanyahu get raped by his own country's political process is something they wouldn't want to prevent.
>Netanyahu being blamed for suspicious Oct 7 handling, with a former aide of his now alleging Netanyahu tried to doctor Oct 7 records, and Netanyahu visiting and asking UAE to publicly deny that they sent advanced warning about Oct 7. (UAE confirmed the visit but said little more.) Bear in mind that Netanyahu was about to lose a corruption trial before Oct 7 happened, where he serendipitously got a state of emergency to keep his career afloat and himself out of prison as he tried to dismantle the justice system working against him.
>Israel said to be approaching a state of civil war
>Trump poised to lose midterm elections, likely leading to an impeachment vote
>Trump offered $5,000 to all Americans if his party wins midterms, shameless and desperate
>Trump melting down over getting passed for a Nobel Peace Prize and it going to a former International Criminal Court judge that found Israel guilty of trying to commit genocide in Gaza. US sanctions the ICC, tries to protect Bibi Netanyahu.
>Trump also melting down over people saying "Artificial Intelligence" instead of "Super Intelligence." Declares that people who say AI will be regarded as enemies of the state. Looks like stress and AI psychosis are getting to him.
>Rebeca Grynspan is the current front-runner in the election for a new UN Secretary-General. Grynspan is the former VP of Costa Rica, Jewish, and her sister lives in Israel, saying "we are Zionists by heart." Rebeca herself has not made clear her position on Israel and its human rights abuses.
>There is a move for the ICC to prosecute Netanyahu for crimes against humanity which is currently being blocked by the USA. Israel is similarly trying to block any aligned politicians from going into office.
>Trump made a deal with Russia for diesel in order to bring down gas prices
>It's quite possible this diesel will contain Iranian diesel export being sold through Russia
>Within hours of the deal, Zelensky blew up an important export terminal for the deal
>US troop morale going even lower since Hegseth's Department of War is not properly giving medical care to war injured and also not giving proper rations, among other things
>Rasmus Jarlov, member of the Danish parliament (he's with the Conservative People's Party) and chairman of the Defence Committee within, says it's time for the EU to make a deal with Iran
>Iran appears to be hitting Iraqi Kurdistan in Erbil with drones
>Iran is also hitting oil tankers that are transiting Hormuz by hugging Oman's coast (a route Iran bans) with missiles much more heavily now
