To follow up on why the website is fucked.

A few days ago I made a post on /v/. I have seen an interesting video about the history of governments funding feminist propaganda in gaming as a form of social change. It's a in depth video with sources, discussing something that's usually pretty hidden. It starts in the 90s and carries on until today. The video is 25 minutes long, very informative and well edited. It is excellent content to discuss and to learn something. The exact type of content original 4chan and 8ch would have jumped on. Probably dug into and learned ever more. The first response is a meme saying go back to 4chan. The 2nd is a FPBP response to it. The third is asking why a mod anchored the post so it couldn't be bumped instead of just deleting it.

This is not functional as a website. You have people posting interesting videos and the immediate response is "don't post stuff" and mods backing it up. And this is your most popular board. It's fucked. You're community isn't interested in discussing things. Your mods are intentionally sabotaging posters posting new threads. Why would any one want to be here? It stinks of having the website run to intentionally be uninteresting to subvert alt chan users. There's no other way to explain how shit ZZZ's community is.

As far as I understand it, it is to deal with obsessive spam i.e. somebody flooding the website either with a script or poopsocking it with manual input (has happened a couple times recently, with another mod implementing his own automoderator with no false positives on one of those occasions). I could be misunderstanding the intended scope of the admin's own automoderator, but I wouldn't doubt he has taken into account that having it moderate in an overbroad manner is a potential concern.
