One of the issues (at least for me as a partially global vol) is that I can only see the reported posts, I can't actually see the originating IP of posts adjacent or the other posts that were not reported, making it hard to distinguish if it's retards slapfighting and should be moved to the offtopic thread, or being deleted. Report via local and then global if the locals don't clean it up.
I can generally tell if it's a spammer or AI bot but sometimes it's harder to tell with some of the newer bots. There's also a few persistent attackers that get really good at evading.
