I'm not sure about that. "Nationalism" is kind of a red herring. It is in fact a social construct, whereas ethnocentrism is cold, hard biology at work. The two overlap, but in the case of the US, the two are now and have been for a very long time, mutually exclusive.

Well, I think we should remember that Orania has made great strides at separating peacefully. Ultimately, nothing can happen if we do not come together and unity requires identification. Trying to separate without more tangible togetherness is putting the cart before the horse, although I absolutely think we should start incorporating ever increasing amounts of cultural separatism in to prep the playing field.
