uhh post some news or something, like this:

>Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will hopefully give us the first proper gameplay reveal for GTA 6 — and it will be exclusive to Netflix for six hours. This unprecedented marketing beat has drawn criticism from some who have said Rockstar is effectively paywalling a video game trailer. Meanwhile, many questions remain. Is this extended look along the lines of a standard gameplay trailer? A mini GTA 6 documentary? A Netflix show? Something else entirely? Strauss Zelnick, boss of Rockstar parent company Take-Two, is keeping his cards close to his chest. But in a new interview with IGN, he said everyone will tune in regardless.

basically GTA dix is not getting a gameplay trailer but a showcase exclusive on netflix

I really like this, this GTA is trying so hard that even if releases as a perfect game it will not meet the expectations.
Most people that I see shilling this are retard normies that don't even play GTA that much, they will pay a lot for just a few hours and abandon ship to go back to their social media reels and flavor of the month stupid fagflix shows.
This will be great, a lot of amusement to have just watching normies crying or trying to justify their stupid purchase.

I can't understand why GTA gets this much hype by normalfags, is a game about moving from point A to point B, then doing a small action then repeat. And is mediocre in it's 3 basic mechanics (driving, shooting, kill police), driving sucks, gta iii-san andreas driving was acceptable, iv was fun but needed a small tweak because the physics felt like half done, v was blatantly bad because you couldn't even drift, so cars in gta 5 are basically pressing the forward button mindlessly and right and left from time to time, and it doesn't even rewards you for driving well, because if you crash you can just fix your car instantly, in gta sa cars exploded and in 4 they stopped working, they removed this feature so normalfags don't even have to worry about being good playing the game, this is the level....

Then you have shooting... which sucks so much... in every single entry of the franchise. In San Andreas, and IV to some extend you have some sort of small recoil (the recoil for IV was lost in the PC port for some reason)... in 5 there's no recoil, and they even removed the physics that IV had when shooting to people, so come on... this game is about shooting and run over NPCs that's supossed to be the only good part... And in GTA V they even went jewish mode or something and the weapons you can use instead of being the iconic weapons everyone likes that appears in every single videogame and other games of the franchise (m4, glock, beretta 92fs ak47, 1911, desert eagle etc..) they're chink knockoffs of the real weapons.... like what the fuck man, who does this on a videogame???. Instead of modeling the beretta 92fs i am going to model the taurus (brazilian weapon brand) knockoff of the beretta 92fs, and instead of the ak47, a chink norinco, and the desert eagle is a poorly modeled BLACK desert eagle.... come on.... you only had one job, make the fucking desert eagle white fucking nigger... and every single gun has that "tacticool" disgusting look on it, truly horrendous. (I won't extend more on why I hate GTA V guns but here you can look it a bit and puke on this terrible gun selection: https://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_V )
And about the police, it loses the fun after the second time you try to kill them, because they're annoying specially with the choppers and it reaches a point where you can only beat them by cheesing the game, I think GTA SA is the only one where you can actually beat the police (which actually has a higher level with the army). And the AI sucks, GTA IV AI had cool little details, that were removed in GTA V, like everything cool thing GTA IV had.

And while not being a gameplay mechanic, the world: is a fucking empty and boring piece of shit in GTA V. only a small part of it is actually used by the game, and the rest is useless and has nothing. In GTA IV at least it had tons of small alleys and props (like trash bins or boxes), also even big streets were kinda thigh and full of traffic, so you could do cool drifting around or police persecutions or something and drive carefully to not crash to random cars, but in GTA V they made the streets way too big and the traffic non-existent in comparison, so the map feels like a big empty racing track.

You can play almost any "GTA clone" and it will be probably better and more fun, for example, for me watch dogs is way better than any GTA game, and that's even when watch dogs is a game half-finished, that's the level of how bad GTA is. Or for example sleeping dogs which is a fun game that is also way better than any GTA game (driving is actually fun, you have fighting, you don't have to drive for 15 gazillion hours because map is small but full...)

As a game, GTA sucks so much. As cultural enlightenment and mass deception of masses otherwise....

In this they reveal the secret sauce within the kike machine that their products are bad, and won't be bought organically except without intense marketing campaigns which is mostly about generating fomo and peer pressure from an army of shills and idiot normies that run their dumb mouths.

>I can't understand why GTA gets this much hype by normalfags
The appeal is exactly this
<is a game about moving from point A to point B, then doing a small action then repeat. And is mediocre in it's 3 basic mechanics (driving, shooting, kill police), driving sucks
Normgroids love mediocre stuff, this is what appeals to them, look at everything mainstream, its all hollow, mediocre and without substance, they dont want to deal with depth or challenge, they want cheap thrills and hand holding with rewards being awarded to them rather than achieving things the hard way and getting a thrill from doing things on their own.
>it doesn't even rewards you for driving well, because if you crash you can just fix your car instantly, in gta sa cars exploded and in 4 they stopped working, they removed this feature so normalfags don't even have to worry about being good playing the game, this is the level....
Thats the whole point they cannot handle that much action, they favor dry boring mechanics.
>this game is about shooting and run over NPCs that's supossed to be the only good part..
I think that was the main selling point of gta since day one, killing npcs was my favorite thing about gta, too bad you cant do that irl that way.
The only good game with that mechanic was gta2, the streets filled with military and tanks roaming around at final wanted level was mad fun and could be beat in some way, didnt have that anymore the same way.
In san andreas the cops and vehicles literally materialize out of thin air, sometimes right in front of you and the tanks cannot be destroyed by missiles or tank cannons but take damage from crashes its so ridiculous.

It really is a long downward way from gta1 and 2 which had a lot of redeeming features that you dont even see in the clones and the like.
Such a shame the normgroids made it shit with their bare presence.

I'm hard pressed to think of a more jewish move. Even having players pay to be beta and alpha testers, gambling currencies and mechanics with lootboxes, zero-day DLC, and the other industry rapes is somehow infinitely less jewish then this. Bundling popular demos with a highly anticipated game onto a legitimate game you have to buy in the old days is nothing compared to this.

Reminds me of when I first started seeing ads on video sites, and since the main thing I used those for was watching game trailers and reviews, I was basically being forced to watch ads to watch ads. Even sillier, since most of the ads were for games, I would frequently end up being forced to watch an ad for the very thing I was trying to watch an ad for.

>>314844
>I can't understand why GTA gets this much hype by normalfags
I agree with Rockstar's own public explanation: It's an "everything game". Same as Minecraft or Bethesda's hiking sims, normalfags can just buy it and get a mile wide inch deep imitation of every other kind of every other game.

GTA niggers are peak niggercattle so I am not surprised. They deserve it, and I hope this trend follows with other studios so Western AAAA space collapses onto itself. We're already at that point coming soon with PS6 not offering anything new, not having any disc support and costing at the very least 1000+ dollars, probably more with inflation and resource shortages by the time it comes out. All I can hope for is that those who pay a $100 dollars for this piece of shit go broke and regret not saving that money for groceries.

>>314844
Vice City is fun because it doesn't have the baggage of San Andreas and it's many useless, puddle deep mechanics and it has a fun setting. GTA 3 is too underdeveloped as far as mechanics go and it's setting is drab and boring, GTA 4 improved on that heavily. I think the only reason normalfags think GTA 5 is the best game ever is the online portion, no way it would have this staying power even with mods with all the bad gameplay design decisions it has compared to 4 and even 3D era titles. I still say Saints Row 1+2 and Sleeping Dogs are superior to most GTA games.
I think we're witnessing the most overhyped game in human history ladies and gentlemen.

The problem is that those things aren't there yet and still on the cloud. Do you have any idea how bad it would go over with all thodr luddites? I don't think the technology is ready yet and I don't know if it ever will be. When you watch a video made with that ponyfag's graduate thesis or similar techniques you can clearly hear it "skip" when it runs across a group of syllables that didn't appear often enough in its training corpus. The overall effect tends to resemble a youtube poop, where something more specialized like Vocaloids or even expert-level sentence mixing YTPs can sound more natural. Or in the case of vocaloid more pleasingly artificial, but I digress.
You also have to deal with the VAs who will sue to try to avoid losing their jobs.

not so hot take: say what you want about it but gta V was the single most profitable piece of entertainment ever, and VI is already the most anticipated one ever, regardless of how the state it releases in, how many people get disappointed by it, it'll shape and change the face of video games and influence them for years to come.

the size of the map alone is already a disappointment for many, granted, it's all but confirmed at this point but I doubt the geography has changed much since the 2022 leaks and I really doubt that cuckstar would not mention a big selling point like that in the two trailers. matter of fact, when you think about it, neither of the trailers so far has shown anything significant or new bar prettier graphics and tech. maybe the extended look will reveal something juicy but so far it looks V, on a x2 (almost) bigger and prettier map, which is all sorts of lame when you consider the 12 years of dev cycle and 2 gens of consoles and multiple gens of graphic chips between V and VI

That's even worse, as Xbox is shutting down studios left and right they're transitioning into becoming a movie/TV show mill. At least Soyny still has the occasional AstroBot or the like come out, when was the last time Xbox had a decent non-first party IP title come out of the blue? And all of their first party games suck now, obviously, so they really do have nothing.

Also, what are they gonna do as far as movies and TV shows are concerned? Halo already got an awful Netflix show nobody liked, I can't see people lining up to see Gears of War, Fallout already has a really awful TV show, so what's left? Are we going to see Candy Crush or Starfield adopted? Tony Hawk's Pro Skater? Fucking Crash Bandicoot? COD or Blizzard games are the best bet, maybe something TES related, but I can't see any of these being a success.

>>315402
You have to remember that the last R* game wasn't GTA V, it was RDR2. For it's woke story and writing, it was a genuinely impressive game on a technical level, now compare that to what is essentially GTA V part 2. Yeah, not looking good.

Some potential leaks of VI's map I found on plebbit. Mods instadeleted them, not sure if it's the because of the spam links or because they're legit. Speaking of the links don't bother, they go to some crypto memecoin website or something and it doesn't have "more", just mirrors of these two pics, some of which already dead so maybe copyright struck already. If they're legit they supposed to be the 3 keys south of VC, the mapping project includes them too but with different shapes, level of detail and position of landmarks. Could be AI generated based off the mapping project's map, I guess, but I'm not seeing any obvious tells.

I remember the overhype about GTA 5 and it all lead to a disappointing story, boring characters unlike gta 4, meh gameplay, half the map is empty, fake looking guns with shit sounds, god awful police ai, broken stealth, arcade driving, linear mission styles etc etc.

I'd post the videos but they're both bigger than 32 MB so just watch them on the site if you're not afraid of being h4x0red I guess.

Some fag leaked gameplay clips along with the game's map, apparently because of the no physical release issue or something.
I've re-encoded them so they were small enough to upload here, you can go to the URLs in the videos' watermarks to get the originals.

Might as well dump some thoughts no one cares about on this:

Game's looking, unsurprisingly, like a GTA, with the driving and fighting clearly inherited from the previous entry, which can be disappointing since it's taken so long to develop, only for it to play the same.
The stamina, car engine and fuel maintenance, vehicle stash and limited item slot mechanics are there to innovation on gameplay, but I'm not sure if they'll be meaningful enough to differ it from GTA5, and would like to see more.
I get that from a (huge) business perspective you don't want to change it too much in order to not scare your customer away, but still. (Also Xitter fags say that they were taken from FiveM and RDR2, lol)
The basketball minigame is probably just a left over from testing the game's scripting engine.
On a smaller note, the cartoon weapon icons look cool, reminiscent of the 2D era.

For the graphics, it seems they have finally fully jumped into modern day rendering standards (for better and worse).
There's a lack of ambient occlusion in these clips for some reason, which may be one reason why they look off to people (in >>315576's thumbnail the car's undercarriage is fully lit).
Also some retards online are using clips with 'washed out' colors as their source of GTA6's low quality visuals. (The original videos are in HDR, and if you don't tonemap them when converting them to SDR, the colors become "muddy".)

I think the lower graphics standards are probably deliberate to get it to work more stable on lower end hardware. GTA V had the play-doh character models too, and seemingly for the same reason; while RDR2 pushed the envelope a bit more. Consoles are one thing, but the GTAV RP scene is colossal on PC (arguably a usurper to Second Life imo), and they're probably going to want to aim for a 960 to run it 30fps at low for ultimate-maximum normalfag accessibility on a Dell office prebuilt, to use as a multibillion dollar online service platform for the next decade. Jeetification aside, R☆ are usually one of the better studios for optimisation too.
Also don't forget, it's been in development for over a decade now, it was likely in a 90% finished state ~2020.

Graphically speaking, it doesn't look like much. Cyberpunk had legit near photo realistic interiors and exteriors, with settings maxed out if you stood in some places would legit make you question whether it was a real scene or not, at least in terms of lighting, shaders, reflections etc. because even that if you looked close you'd see the models and texturing were inconsistent. This literally still looks more or less like RDR2 did in 2018. RDR2 was a serious leap from R*'s most recent product GTA V, and they were only 5 years apart. Now it's the current year, 8 whole years after RDR2 and GTA VI looks hardly better, if at all.

As for the gameplay too little is shown so I can't speak for it but it indeed looks like GTA with some of the systems carryover from RDR2, like the clothing and car needing to be swapped to evade the fuzz.
>driving
Definitely one of the let downs, car gets hit at speed twice and it shows no damage, the physics look better than V at least, the hit had some oomph to it and the loss of traction seemed more realistic.
>world interaction
Yeah the dude getting out of his and starting a fight is cool over cutting him off was cool and all but that was already a mechanic 6 billion years ago in like Vice City or San Andreas, so was people commenting your bad driving. What I'm disappointed about is the lack of reactions by everyone else.
>serious accident with car spinning out
>nobody gives a fuck
>no one stops to ask if anyone's injured or if an ambulance should be called
>cars keep going on their merry way like nothing happened
Like yeah, surely they'll have the generic reactions like of people looking over and maybe pulling their phones out or running away in fear like in V and IV before, but I they'd improve how the peds react overall to stuff like this.
>car engine and fuel maintenance
I seriously doubt they will implement an engine maintenance mechanic, seems too tedious for your average retard. I bet that icon is literally just "car health" so you know when it's close to exploding, accompanying the old visual cue smoke coming out of the engine bay. Because normalfags are too stupid for the "show, don't tell" rule and they need to be constantly reminded of what's going on around them or else they lose the plot. The fuel, I dunno seems cool on paper for the first couple times, I bet people are gonna end up hating the tedium eventually.
>lack of ambient occlusion
Can easily be chalked up to "unfinished old build" and can be assumed to be a result of settings not being maxed or enabled.

I can't say I particularly hate what I've seen overall, I'm just not impressed by it. It just looks like V with a few touch ups and new mechanics sprinkled in but with the graphics of RDR2.

They did increase their standard compared to the previous entry.
The reason I made the ambient occlusion was from a theory where they intentionally made the game worse looking on non-hardware raytracing GPUs, but quickly disproved it when I saw the real time reflections on the dude's house window.
>and they're probably going to want to aim for a 960 to run it 30fps at low for ultimate-maximum normalfag accessibility
Sure, but certainly not a GTX960 today. Maybe whatever hardware generation came before the base PS5's GPU?

I bet cops still arrest you for standing near them too long, fire at you for running even if unarmed, and I bet there's no way to cripple/injure people.

>>Cop instantly rises to his feet when attacked mid animation.
Might be a case of them choosing "game" logic over realism (giving your enemy a chance to strike back if you don't manage your stamina right, rather than instantly collapsing from the wounds like IRL).
>>Retarded NPC AI turns hostile without warning just for standing around (like in V)
Since you can see the fag selecting the "Greet" option, it makes me wonder if the aggression was caused by his wanted level, evil karma, and/or them being homeless.

Either way I like to see these 'new' RPG mechanics, that's what I meant when I wished for them to innovate on mechanics. Too bad they plagiarized them from modders though.

From SKG's point of view, it's understandable that they don't want to have a scam associated with their mission.
They do lose me somewhat when they mention the Netflix marketing stunt as a reason to not financially support the leaker.

One thing I was spectulating about is that, if Rockstar was to be behind these leaks for whatever reason - the same Rockstar that is pushing digital only releases for their upcoming flagship game, it could also be trying to denigrate game conservation movements by attaching their message to a crypto pump-and-dump scheme.

The gameplay is to be expected, it's basically GTA 5 but with RDR2 mechanics and some bits stolen from RP servers(which I assume is now part of their core audience). This is what the modern GTA player wants, for better or for worse, we are never getting a new arcade title from the 3D era again(unless you count the disaster that was Definitive Edition).

Actually, that reminds me of a revelation I had recently. The modern behavior of many "fans" of vidya or anime or whatever seem to behave remarkable similar to the aforementioned practice. A prime example of this is modern powerscalers shippers (though these lots has always attracted retardation) and "agenda posting". These reprobates' patterns almost always stick to to a system of cult-like devotion to their preferred idol. Does Superman beat Goku? Does Goku beat Superman? Which girl should MC-kun have impregnated? It does not matter! Because the only thing that matters is trying to publicly shame anyone associating with the other idol regardless of truth.

I don't see why I can't mock the game, the shitshow surrounding it is sure as hell more entertaining than the game itself. The idea that one of the largest corporations on earth is getting it's shit leaked by little kids and pajeets and there is nothing they can do to stop it is hilarious, R* is getting humbled in real time.

Remember the The gay of us 2: Tranny edition? Well, they lost shit load of sales because normalfags got spoiled in the death of the MC.
And there is even data on that, leaked sales numbers show that The Gay of us 1 sold way more than The Gay of Us 2.
>>315810
Don't forget that this directly lead to the death of Julay something I was directly responsible for because I was the one who brought up the posts about the game getting deleted in the /meta/ thread there, which kickstarted the shistshow that would eventually lead to hanging flesh literally leaving CP up on the site out of spite.
Also, don't forget that the game flopped so bad that they didn't even bother shipping the multiplayer mode with the game, I don't think it even had any DLC lmfao.

Cuckmann should be the one given the golf club treatment, the poor devs had it hard enough with him forcing them to watch violent gore videos in order to "make the game as realistic as possible". Yes, this is real, that's why the game is so damn mean spirited, you would be too if your kike boss made you watch puppies having their necks slit for hours on end so that you get that dog killing animation in the game just right.

A game with real good animations and gameplay, even with the GTA SA graphics would be really great.
Most people play on their phones too, so that much graphix and visuals are game waste.

I want a full useful city where I can enter all the houses, all of them having stuff to break, use, steal, people inside, buildings with each floor accessible, alarms, cameras that you need to disable.
I want the fire truck to have an axe and extinguisher, the ambulance be full of drugs that you can use or sell, the character using the drugs, even OD, get addicted, make you can buy booze, drink it, make a molotov, throw on the ground and let it catch fire.
Make the car crash leak oil and gas, add electric vehicles having batteries that can blow up and catch fire for hours, make the trees fall and burn, house walls break with a car crash.
Add a place where they can disassemble the stolen cars with details, sell parts, put something on the glove compartment, make it you could hide a gun, drugs or something, use vehicles to contraband and really hide stuff inside the car, truck cargo or something.
Give us food trucks with lines, an inventory where I could put tacos, burgers and bobas, clothes where pockets make difference, make it so we can stole people IDs and use it for fraud, stole the cards and use them, enemies with some brain and not waiting and dancing around you, give people different guns, bullets, holsters....

We still get the old gameplay with some gimmicks here and there like playing golf and basketball only getting visuals as the biggest change, it's more than 20 years since San Andreas, invest on Stats or something fun.

Sounds most like Cataclysm, a turnbased roguelike. Though Cataclysm does have one extreme concession to pragmatism that such a game would probably need: Reliance on a sometimes conspicuously small "reality bubble" centered around your character, outside of which processes freeze in time and being calculated as actual simulations, instead at best relying on timers (e.g.: Corpses rotting, crops growing) that are checked whenever they reenter the bubble for immediate state update before simulation resumes.
