[Hide] (217.9KB, 1274x1198) Reverse Frostpunk 1 has become my comfy Christmas holidays game.
I cover myself in warm blankets, prepare a cup of hot chocolate or tea and then spend the next couple of hours trying to save the last bastion of humanity from the brink of an ice age extinction.
>1910s Steampunk England
>The entire earth is covered in frost for unknown reasons
>The frost came from the South
>The north pole is ironically the warmest place on earth (still covered in hundreds of meters of snow, ice and permafrost)
> -50c (-58 F) is a nice sunny day for the people there
>You have to hunt for food, upgrade infrastructure, deal with sickness and best of all, sign laws and policies to appease the citizens.
>You can send little children to the coal mines
>You can make the citizens worship you as a God
>You can feed people sawdust soup and corpse starch
>Beatings increase morally, unironically
>You can create a technostate where nobody works and everything is automated
>You can shout state propaganda at a robot to make it work harder
>You can cause a class war between educated engineers and the stupid poors
>Or you can be Hitler 2.0 and make everything great once again
Highly recommended. It's on GOG too (pirate it).
