Public school is a glorified daycare system. There is definitely something mentally wrong with teachers the lower they teach, like they're pedophiles or otherwise autistic/retarded to some extent. They can't handle or don't want to join broader society so they retreat to the structure they know. There's probably satisfaction from some role reversal dynamic for some of them, too, where they take pleasure in becoming a master (albeit, more like a supervisor) to a new generation of slaves.

All that being said, I do have some fond memories of a few of my teachers who weren't weird and didn't lord what little authority their position granted them. Seemed like laid-back people who would have made enjoyable company outside of a school setting. Granted, the only one I remember from elementary school that wasn't bonkers was some milf that previously taught high school.

I remember distinctly that several teachers in middle school would punish kids who "asked too many questions". A few of the parents realized what was going on and told the school to switch the kids' classes, but many were stuck with those cunts. I had one such teacher and when my parents were summoned to the school for "counseling" or whatever nuspeak term they used, it came out the teacher was essentially just embarrassed for her be inability to answer.

I've never seen the parent of a kid who has problems like this find a better way to groom their kid to be a contributing member of society. At best the kid either finds a medication that works for them or they learn enough impulse control to go to trade school or an apprenticeship. Maybe if a kid like that was homeschooled and grew up on a farm they were going to inherit that would be better. Or they could just cane the kid. 
But schools have to cater to kids that are going to make the most out of their education. They can't just condone kids with 0 impulse control and let them drag down the rest of the class. 
If I ever have a kid I sure hope they don't turn out retarded like that.

Not to defend the teachers but this is an issue related to schooling, not individual teachers. No teacher can afford to follow the thought process of every child simultaneously and help them all learn the lesson. When learning as a group, it is necessary not to let one's mind wonder too much and progress with the same speed as the group.
A teacher's job is to help the kids learn, not to show them who's boss. You can replace the teacher as often as you want, the problem will still remain until you find a teacher with enough charisma to capture everyone's attention and make them all progress at the same rate.

Another possibility is when the kid goes through some trauma, so all the energy gets rerouted to perception and attempts to understand the environment from which harm emerged. If school is categorized as part of the environment (was the case for me) then the kid's energy will be invested in trying to game the system which in my case helped me perform well.

Why is it that society needs to break the will of men and elevate women?

Maybe it is because normal men, if transported to the current age, would revolt. 
Society needs to break males because females are pre-disposed towards complacency, obedience, and submission.
I'm not even being flippant or chauvinistic here. I believe that even women would tell you that between the two genders, males are far more likely to revolt against authority than women are. Women are far more risk averse, likely to go along to get along, and less likely to challenge authority. Even feminist women will admit the truth of this statement.
Men, meanwhile, are very driven by things like honor and loyalty in ways that women simply do not care about. A man might sacrifice his life for honor but women would never do that. Honor is what compels a man to risk his life to fight back against injustice. Given this, even feminists would admit that women are far more likely to put up with even the most repressive regimes than men are likely to put up with a mildly repressive regime.
Women are natural authoritarians.
An ideal psycho-dictatorship rules only women. This is why cults tend to attract a lot of women.
Put another way, if you were a dictator, would you want a society of 50/50 males to females? Or would you want an all female society with only you as the dictator? Forget about eroticism & Harem Anime for a minute. Logically, you'd choose the all female society to rule over even if you were a eunuch. Even if you were a woman. 

I could go on about the psychological tendencies that motivate crushing male spirit and elevating females over males wherever possible. The point is that maybe it's actually better if males start shooting people the moment the government starts taking their rights away. Maybe that's a good thing. It keeps tyrants in line and, ironically, creates a far more peaceful, lawful, and harmonious society.

I'll admit that when I was a kid (as young as 5 years old) I had sexual fantasies almost exclusively about mature women like my teachers, girls in grades way above mine, scantily clad women I'd see out in public especially at the beach I WILL FOREVER HATE NORMAL NIGGERS FOR RUINING THE BEACH, women sexualized in media, etc. but that doesn't mean I should have had sex with them or naturally would have had my mind be so preoccupied with being as horny as I was back then for women that were not of my age if it weren't for the kind of ((( over sexualized society and environment ))) I lived in that made me feel that way so of course they would like it. Spoon feeding people, especially children, about sex instead of letting them organically discover it by themselves with each other when they are ready or be explained by their trusted elders I think tarnishes that esotericism/bond between a man and woman and further leads to more negative consequences later on such as weaker/broken families which aren't founded on true love, which leads to weaker/broken people, which leads to a weaker/broken society.
