Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
It's alright (so far at least), but really unpolished.
I know it used to look even worse before, but still, even after the graphical improvement patch it doesn't look that great (i mean it is not visually pleasing, i am not talking about shit like raytracing or 8k resolution)
But what bothers me are the awful animations, for instance when Miriam runs looks like her feet aren't even hitting the ground, but looks more like her legs are moving and her whole body is sliding through the stage.
The swimming animatiom is also stiff and ridiculous.
Looks really low budgets, i saw indie game looking much better that this.

Yeah, it's a really nice combo, and just drinking bottom-shelf stuff that will probably make me go blind eventually since I'm a cheapskate when it comes to poison lol. I'd probably just drink everclear if I trusted myself more.
>I cannot maintain responsibility with liquor
IKTF. I honestly can't, either, but I've set a hard limit on how many days a month I will drink anymore. Still end up acting unpredictable, but not as often. Kinda wish I could go back to being a dumb stoner. The nigger plant was much more mellow in my experience, though it sounds like a lot of stuff with THC in it is pretty strong nowadays.

I...I don't know why I'm playing this, but I also know why I'm playing it. It's what I wish my job was. This game that I'm playing is basically my irl job, but with none of the interpersonal "misery is other people" bullshit. I want to fucking cry because it's how I wish things could be.
So, I know why I'm playing it--because it's wish fulfillment--but I don't know why I'm playing it--because it's making me feel miserable.

Popov was always my go-to, you can't beat that price:performance ratio. If I wanted to impress anyone it would be Stolichnaya Elit, if I didn't want to be cheap (or felt like something different) Zubrowka is where it's at.
I used to try to limit myself in all sorts of ways, first by drinks, then by days, but eventually, for me at least, all that shit tends to fall out the window.
I used to be a marijuana-first guy, but even then I hated dealing with dopey pot dealer scum so much, constant pain in the ass, and when I started getting older I got The Fear, anyway. Even if I wanted to try it again, my career piss tests often, so it's "safer" for me to just risk getting blasted on cheap beer benders every now and then.
PS: try vodka and pickle juice sometime if you haven't already.

Have you got to the part where Bateman microwaved that one chick's head and then made sausage out of the rest of her and started crying "I JUST WANT TO BE LOVED!"?
The movie wasn't even half as dark as the book was, nowhere near the dark humor. It's all macabre and insane, and it's hilarious in such a weird way.

I haven't drank with other people much, but they probably thought I was the cheapest person ever with the sort of stuff I'd offer (even though it's the same shit I always drink myself).
>I hated dealing with dopey pot dealer scum so much
Yeah, most of them are stupid like niggers are. Very poor at time management. Pot wasn't a big thing where I live for a long time, so a lot of the dealers were pretty jewish and always tried to charge 5-10 bucks extra. Or maybe that's just the price for socially inept retards.
>when I started getting older I got The Fear
Do you mean you started to feel strong anxiety from it? Never had that feeling personally, but have heard others stop due to something like that.
>try vodka and pickle juice sometime
Haven't ever tried that, but it sounds like a good combination. Counterbalance of strong flavors. Will have to look into that.
Replies: >>271787

I unironically like it. Only reason I even tried it was, after parties at my place, some people wanted to keep drinking beyond the booze they brought. No problem, I'm happy to share, but I am also a devious prick and decided this would be a great drunken prank.
Unless they already knew better, I would mix a tall drinking glass 50/50 with pickle juice and cheap-ass vodka, and tell them casually, "it's not that strong, I don't have much to spare, here's some vodka with Mountain Dew". The face they make is worse than a baby sucking on a lemon, someone drunk expecting something sweet and kinda boozy and getting slammed with pickle juice and gasoline. If you anticipate it, though, it's actually damn good.
Thank you for listening to my TED Talk. Next week, we talk about keeping vodka in water bottles and water in plastic handles.

That's a really good idea for a prank if I ever drink with another person in the future. Between bottom-shelf vodka and pickle juice, though, I wouldn't mind chasing vodka with the latter knowingly. Drank pickle juice before. Not good, not bad, just a bit of a strong sour taste. Would hide the nastiness of alcohol.

I guess to revert back to something I mentioned in another post, Żubrówka is fantastic. It's really not THAT expensive, ~$20 bottle, far better than any sort of chemical-laden "birthday cake" pile of shit and for the same price or cheaper...but it's a grass flavored vodka. Sounds strange, but it has a really nice herbal, kinda-bitter-kinda-sweet taste to it. Granted, I would drink Popov and use water as a chaser, so my palate is hardly delicate, but that was still more than acceptable for not only me, but other acquaintances to drink straight just fine. Regardless, the best way to drink it is to mix it with some apple juice and put some powdered cinnamon on the rim, almost like salt and margarita, or just dump it in the glass.

There were a lot of political bombings in the 1970s, Europe got it really bad. This has all been memory holed, if I were to guess I'd say it was because it was mostly Marxist groups doing it.

I decided to replay Spec Ops: The Line after 10 years. Yeah it's a boring 3rd person shooter with a pretentious story, but it scratches the "serious military shooter" itch. I'm using a mod that makes weapons do more damage so it's somewhat enjoyable.

what? it's terrible, completely forgettable, the gameplay is the most generic piece of shit afterthought ever, it's extremely fucking overrated, it's the type of game you should find in the game stop bargain bin, you buy it for 5 bucks and then still feel ripped off and literally never touch it again. the ONLY thing it has going for it is the art direction, nothing else. it's like a 1/10 game at best.

Game also had a pretty fun multiplayer, as a sort of diet soda third person call of duty. Had some pretty cool mechanics like the sandstorm which makes it harder for people to see you
It even had co-op missions which were also fun.
I also recall the writer getting fucking pissed off about it too, dude was seething about his masterpiece trying to create replay value (and catering to the call of duty fags which I guess makes sense they put fucking dlc's in it)
