How do i stop myself from yelling "Nigger" in every online game I play? I've been banned from at least a dozen because of my habit.
>>270694
Stop acting like a nigger online. Maybe start calling people Negro. You can maybe evade ban by make people think you are a spic by saying that.
Or just find a online game without rulecucking. Don't know any though.

Play games that aren't operated and populated by complete faggots, or play customs with people who aren't complete faggots. I remember playing a match of Siege with a friend right after the autoban update. He typed "nigger" in chat, got autobanned and I never opened the game again after finishing out the match down a player. I don't even blame him, though he knew what was going to happen. He wanted to see if the update really implemented something so retarded I guess. Actually kind of liked their take on class/hero shooters before that point (sans always releasing new operatives overtuned to drive sales), but ruining games over words is fucking retarded.

Why is it that modding communities have started going from: Things people would do as a hobby to straight up begging people to donate money for making a some furry model skins or some QoL stuff. (QoL shit that video game devs would add in sneakily for their enhanced edition or updates.)
Hell some of the modders tend to lock mods behind a paywall and only release it for free after people start sharing the paywall locked mod.
Like I can understand modders worked "really hard" on their mods but if you are only doing it for money.
At that point why not just get a job or make your own video game, without resorting to vague "please give modders money" messages.

The economy is shit.
You know when mods were amazing? When jobs were plentiful, pay was good, and it was easy to spend ages with your hobbies.
Now most people are wagecucking themselves to death, but the few who "make it" reach escape velocity into millionaire space.
A normal job is death, so everyone goes for the moon shot or as close to it as possible.

The economy is intentionally demoralizing.
"This five year old cured cancer and basically you're a retard."
"Look at this nigger who made a whole computer from scratch."
The headlines don't exist because they're sensational, they exist to demoralize you.
Everything exists to psy-op the functional 20% of the population who do the actual work that keeps everything going. If the propaganda, the stresses, the anxieties or any of it eased off, people would realize they're being conned and productivity would suffer.
Once AI and automation fully replace the working population, they'll be passively murdered by food, job, healthcare and living space denial.

Replace "anime" with "classical music" and ask yourself some questions: is it the instruments? The orchestra? The composers?
It's easy to tell if something is or isn't classical music, just like you can tell if something is or isn't anime. If they get anything wrong then it's wannabe anime. Comparatively it is like a rock and roll group commandeering an orchestra and claiming to make classical music while including electrified instruments.

There were probably troops in/around there since the Korean war. In any case, the already decades old CIA plan was to foment wars and unrest in regions surrounding Russia. JFK was one of the few who didn't go along with their plan, so they took him out, simple as.
Also where did the money come from for this very expensive Vietnam war? Quite simply they had to renege on USD->gold redemption for foreign countries, and also drop all silver from US coinage. France was the last country to receive any gold, everyone else after that got screwed over. And the american public got screwed over as well, via inflation.

Vietnam is a bit more complciated than that. After the French up and left after WWII, after thoroughly raping the country both figuratively and literally, Vietnam was in shambles and needed something to stablize the region. Originally the plan was to hand the territory over to the Chinese government, but they were busy losing to the Communists and MaoMao, and were corrupt as shit themselves. Although rather ironically, they still had enough intelligence and sense to know that they wanted nothing to do with trying to maintain the region. So the U.S. was sending the military over there as a "police action" to at least give the nation and region some stabilization. Fast forward two decades, and LBJ wanted to be remembered as the next FDR with his "Great Societies" programs, and so escalated the police action into an all-out war for the purposes of nation building (Does this sound familiar to anyone?). The only problem is that, as it turns out, the American military is one of the only unstoppable forces in the world, and we were winning (Just like in Korean until they sandbagged MacArthur). So the media and the politicians, being the Communist that they are, panicked and began a mass propaganda campaign across all of society treating the American military like it was the most evil force known to man, from raping innocents to feasting on babies. Never mind the fact that every single action military America has participated in since WWII (Including Vietnam, which can be admitted shouldn't have been an actual war in the first place, but whoop-de-doo) was in response to Communists infiltrating and destabilizing governments themselves. AND the fact that majority of the American soldiers that were participating in Vietnam were fucking drafted and so had NO FUCKING CHOICE but to fight. But never mind all that. Because everyone likes to treat Vietnam like it was the worst thing ever, but conveniently leaves out who started it and why.
>the already decades old CIA plan was to foment wars and unrest in regions surrounding Russia
You do realize that the USSR had been doing the same exact thing, funding massive social unrest around the rest of the world since, Day FUCKING One, right? And that the CIA's primariy prupose was to counter all that (20 years after the fact, but better late than never)? Hell, America would have collapsed into an all-out race war during the 30's if FDR's bumbling attempts to "fix" the Great Depression with his New Deals hadn't backfired and actually extended the Depression, which as a result forced blacks and whites to intermingle (Because finding a job that paid money was more important than fussing over your petty political opinions) and realized that there really was no reason to hate each other (Let alone start a race war). Does that make everything they did "right"? No (MKUltra), but that doesn't mean that they just came into existence out of nowhere and did shit because they just wanted to be evil.
>JFK was one of the few who didn't go along with their plan, so they took him out, simple as.

The CIA's purpose wasn't to destroy USSR or even counter it, but to create conflict, from which the bankers and military-industrial complex can profit from. The US could have easily steamrolled USSR immediately after they defeated the germans. Patton wanted to, badly. His bosses wouldn't let him though. Then he died not long after in a dubious accident. So then the reds took over all of eastern europe, and you had the cold war. Then with the russians getting nukes, they could drum up lots of fear. There's big money in fear, and it's also the ideal way to control people. You saw that same theme again during the coof a few years ago.

>The US could have easily steamrolled USSR immediately after they defeated the germans. Patton wanted to, badly. His bosses wouldn't let him though.
Yeah, because they were Communists. Because now it was time to "end" the "Capitalist" age and begin the "Communist" age. In fact, that's exactly what happened in England immedately afterwards as, no sooner the war was over, they immediately elected a Socialist government. Only to then "backtrack" on that several years later by re-electing Churchill.
>Then with the russians getting nukes, they could drum up lots of fear.
And the people who gave the Russians the nukes were Communists.
>There's big money in fear, and it's also the ideal way to control people.
No, it's not. Fear makes people unpredictable as it results in them making decisions that they otherwise wouldn't. In fact, "fear" is the reason why German turned into a National Socialist state rather than a Communist one, despite the Communist spending the previous decades embedding themselves and presenting themselves as the "only" solution to the nation's issues.
>You saw that same theme again during the coof a few years ago.
When the governments were resorting to literally destroying their own municipalities a month in because people refused to obey the lockdown orders? Yeah, the "fear" only worked for the first couple weeks because of the fact that we just didn't know. Everything aftwards people treated as nothing more than a great big joke. Especially once the Summer of Love kicked in, and it was deemed to be a "health risk" to be outside in big crowds UNLESS you were protesting "racism".

I have some tips.

First, you need to also limit the amount you coom. Try fapping once every 2 weeks (or once every week). Nofap for a month (or more) is even better. You will see the difference. Also, you should eat sunflower lecithin instead of soy lecithin. Also, make sure you get enough zinc (about 25-30 mg) and prefer something like zinc-(bis)glycinate. You shouldn't take Zinc at the same time with other minerals because they interfere with each other (They won't get absorbed properly).

You should get your selenium from Brazil Nuts! Keep in mind that Brazil Nuts contain so much selenium that you can actually overdose. I suggest that you eat as nuts as you can easily fit in one hand. That's about 5-6 or so. Also, what's you dosage of L-Arginine? You need to take 1-3 grams of it. Don't take it with lysine because they compete with each other and your body can't absorb either of them very well, if you take them at the same time. You can also try Pycnogenol (Maritime pine bark extract). It has a bit similar effects as L-Arginine. It has been used for treating allergies in France but it also seems to boost blood flow. Also, if you want to increase your libido, I suggest Panax Ginseng, maca (remember to take breaks from using it on regular basis) or horny goat weed (I don't have any experiences with it, tho). But note that horny goat weed contains plant-estrogens.

You can also try saw palmetto but it also contains plant-estrogens (ps. Alfuzosin is more effective treatment for prostate problems).
Doing kegel exercises helps but you also need anaerobic and aerobic exercise, too (even just a little bit helps). Try also gently messaging your balls (even though that may sound weird).

I mean, I kinda wanted to do this, so I can have big loads while also fapping once every 2 days. If I go 1 week, 2 weeks or a month without fapping, then yeah, my loads get on the ceiling.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

Although it does have a fair share of "jumpscares" they feel natural to the environment and gameplay and it has some of the best atmosphere in a horror-thriller game that will keep you constantly on your toes no matter how far you are in the game or how well prepared you seem to be. It does start to get a little retarded in the story department but thats just how Monolith Studios games are.

The sequel is also nice, but the horror and suspense takes a massive jump back to focus more on balls to the wall semi-retarded ideas and concepts that still end up being fun and well implemented.

Pre-1960s flight simulation games with half-decent cloud rendering.
Nothing is spookier than flying inside thick grey goop autistically trying to pinpoint an enemy aircraft with no gay nigger electronics to distract (You), it's especially fun on maps with mountains.
Be aware though that combat flight sims are the premier nesting ground of emergent jumpscares, though in my opinion their organic nature complements the existential aviation horror quite well.

You'll also need sufficient plane autism to enjoy those, 3rd person arcade style flying games can't even begin to replicate the proper cloudrophobic experience.

In terms of weapons, unironically the id Tech 4 trilogy of Doom 3, Prey, and Quake 4. In terms of "plot", Illbleed. In terms of gore, Splatterhouse.

I've done this, and tbh it really needs a balancing patch.
You can immediately tell by looking at an enemy if they're a danger based off color alone. And engaging in combat is a worthless effort because if you're not killed by an enemy and endless stream of police will come hunt you down. Healing items are so ridiculously expensive, and health regen is so slow you just bleed out most of the time. The graphics aren't even nice, it's mostly run-down brutalist buildings that look the same. Oh and the soundtrack is awful, it's all shity generic beats with unintelligible babble over it. It's not fun, just play Silent Hill or RE.

I had a dream I was playing OG SimCity, and I was playing so badly that I discovered a new disaster. I had so much pollution that at some point I started getting drought disasters that made the oceans and rivers recede. I thought, "sweet, more land on the map," and kept going until any time I put down a park tile it would disappear, and zones started getting replaced with deserts represented with skull and crossbones. It then accelerated and the entire map became wasteland with that advisor screen popping up warning about ecological collapse and finding a new game over condition.
My general thought while playing was, "This is awesome."

I've actually been playing Morrowind quite a bit to get my fix somewhat. I can't explain this well, but it doesn't _feel_ right. Like, I agree, it's 90% there. I don't quite know what it is. Whether it's because the magicka doesn't actually restore without potions (unless I use...broken mechanics...), or how I'm in an inventory/menu screen 80% of the time, I don't know. Above all, I think it's because of how...disgusting it looks.
Morrowind is too "realistic." Everyone sounds like a chain smoker, everyone looks like they're in their 50s, their skin looks like they've been in the desert for 20 years, every surface looks like it's covered in grime or slime, slavery is rampant. I have enough of that irl.
That's more the reason for the "pointy hat," metaphorically speaking, I know if the wizard is in a big pointy hat, then it's a bit more removed and cartoony, in a sense.

Even though it's made in a shit engine (Unity) it's impressive that you can have new assets and rule-sets on demand, with a group, simply by switching "room"
It's a sandbox, and if it sucks that's due to the userbase. I was impressed with quite a few of the autistic projects when I investigated it for myself a few years ago. The attention to detail in some of the modeling, rigging and music was exceptional. The ease of copying user-generated assets for your own use is also fantastic. They've introduced a lot of "DONUT STEEL" garbage so that is more limited now. The number of insane faggots is high, but the concept has enormous potential.

If it was remade in a proper engine, with better netcode, performance and proper physics, it would be an unbeatable "every game." There would be little point to playing anything else if individuals could simply asset strip other games, create a custom ruleset, and recreate it in a way so you can distribute it on the fly to every other player.

I've been wanting to play "PC Building Simulator" for a while. Held off because I had this sense of, "This is like 90% of what I do irl for a job, why the fuck would I buy a game to do this in my free time, too?" But the <$3 price tag was "fuck it" territory. I just wanted to say various thoughts of mine.
First of all, I now finally understand all of these "Unity engine German work simulation" games. It's complete wish fulfillment. This is how I WISH my job was. Just go into a room to work on PCs, get the orders in by e-mail, no middlemen, no back-and-forth with irate customers, no HR bullshit, no countless hours of meetings. Just pure bliss. I think about a couple of hours into playing this I wanted to break down and cry because it made me realize the extent of what I'd love in life and how it'll never happen, and those existential thoughts just kind of completely overwhelmed me. They're still overwhelming me as I type this out.
Secondly, I've always had in my head this "dream PC" I've always wanted to build. Just the most decked out, water cooled, overclocked, monstrosity you could ever possibly imagine. I noted the free build mode and just went crazy with it. My god do I love what I created. It was so optimized and so beautiful. And then, I looked at the price tag: more than my car is worth, and, again, I wanted to just break down and cry over the realization that I'll never have this.
This is a game that should make me happy, that instead has made me miserable. I haven't ever played more than a few hours and just thinking about it leaves me completely and utterly ruined and depressed. Not the game's fault, but just because it shined a mirror back on my own life that was too polished for me to conceivably handle.
depression/10

End of the game plot of FFIV:
Flying on a cybernetic whale powered by a magic crystal you got from dwarves on the inside shell of the Earth so you can go to the Moon to stop your brother--who was secretly mind controlling your friend and himself is being mind controlled by a secret evil power--from starting an intergalactic race war.
End of the game plot of a fucking bullshit fan-made game about basketball:
They find the B.L.O.O.D.M.O.S.E.S. headquarters on the slave ship Necron 5. After freeing Vince Carter from his programming and defeating Michael Jordan in basketball combat, they find the leader of B.L.O.O.D.M.O.S.E.S., a shadowy version of Barkley created by the Ultimate B-Ball to destroy all life on Earth with a super-powerful Chaos Dunk, then repopulate the earth with Barkley clones. Shadow Barkley is defeated, but machinery on the ship is set to perform the Chaos Dunk without Shadow Barkley. Barkley stays behind while the rest of the party escapes from the Necron 5. The Monstars attempt to stop the trio from escaping. They are only partially successful; Balthios stays to fight the Monstars while Hoopz and Cyberdwarf successfully leave Necron 5. Charles Barkley then performs another Chaos Dunk, destroying the ship and saving the earth. The game ends in a cliffhanger, where Hoopz and Cyberdwarf are aboard an escape pod in space without destination and the fate of Barkley and Balthios is never made clear.
End plot of the one of the most popular movies of all time:
Boy-toy she had an affair with helps her escape a sinking ship, and decades later she still thinks nothing about her husband, but instead that dude she had sex with on a luxury cruise liner.

Why can't movie plots ever reach the impressionable scale of modern videogame plots? Why do so many movie and T.V. plots seem so mundane and parochial?

The question is do you want the object or the experience the object might provide? If you zoom out a little you can find ways around obstacles. You seem mired in your immediate situation. I'm gently suggesting that you think more laterally and beyond the immediate. I pointed out that a $10k pc will still rot as a way for you to reconsider if it's still worth it without being adversarial or condescending. They're your dreams, Anon, chase them.

They massively upgraded the engine and added full Lua support, hence the name Lua-nti. So it is now a highly moddable game engine akin to Roblox or Garry's Mod. It made no sense to call it Minetest anymore since it does more than just play Minecraft, and it is clearly not a test anymore.
>>272709
The biggest, easily, was how many people got confused by the name. When Minetest was literally just an experiment at an open source version of Minecraft Classic, the name was fine. In the fifteen years since then it's become a fully fledged game engine with several games having six-figure downloads. It's the same reason they unbundled Minetest Game from the launcher and instead ask you to download your own. That, and because MTG is terrible.
It also sounds hobbyist and unprofessional. Minetest? That screams "FOSSjank"

Anyway, I recommend Mineclonia or VoxeLibre, leaning on Mineclonia. They're both forks of the same game, Mineclone, but they differ in slight ways. Both projects have gone in different directions; Mineclonia focuses on running smoothly and retaining gameplay as close as possible to the real Minecraft while VoxeLibre has slowly been going its own direction, untethered by vanilla Minecraft. An example of that are the original weapons such as the spear, which sacrifices damage for a further range. VoxeLibre has also strayed from Minecraft's more controversial features, I don't recall Phantoms existing while they do in Mineclonia.

See this thing? I bet 90% of you don't recognize it, but don't worry - most Minecraft players don't either.
This is the Sniffer, a mob that drops from an extremely rare block in an environment you wouldn't spend much time in that can only properly be obtained through a relatively obscure mechanic.
What does this difficult to spawn mob do? It digs for seeds.

Minecraft is absolutely full of "content" like this now, complete bloat that adds nothing to the game.

It's gonna be a long time until an actual functional /x/ comes back in some form somewhere. I'm firmly of the belief that imageboards, and their common quality level, are a reflection of the "real" state of such interests; in the case of /x/ for the last decades across multiple places and revival attempts it has either been dead or filled to the brim with drooling retards that completely miss the point muddying the waters intentionally or otherwise. For paranormal interests you need a common culture that incentivizes passion, sincerity, and honesty and the modern world doesn't have that in the slightest.

And from an absence of those qualities comes a reluctance to engage with said paranormal topics as you'll either be screaming into a void lucky to get even one reply within a month or attempting to converse with braindead morons that have zero understanding of said topics beyond the board being the place for "le spoopy bazinga vibes and memes" where they can call people the latest "epic buzzwords" to make themselves feel and appear smart while killing any form of discussion.

believing there is nothing beyond matter is the biggest midwit trap there is. so much so that gaytheists end up acting evangelical for their insistence that there is nothing esoteric or supernatural with the inconsistent clusterfuck that is reality.
the line between "rationality" and science-worship grows ever so slim the more we realize our attempts at rationalizing the inherently irrational nature of reality breaks down our current models and understandings.
but we can't simply throw these models aside and spend resources and time in making a new revised model for our universe, physics, and our understanding of the world, as it would completely fuck with the current intellectual dogma and everything we've been taught for the past hundred years since relativity. so we make increasingly bizarre theories that would be seen as borderline schizophrenic decades ago just to keep our models relevant.

there is nothing we as humans fear more than the unknown, and we would rather delude ourselves that what we know is all there is and the foolish assumption that we can predict it in some form or way, that there is no greater force beyond what we can comprehend at play, that there is more to life beyond working for goldberg and following the standard trend of living that which society promotes.
a digestible answer from a Priest or Scientific "Expert" is enough to keep our existential dread at bay, in a ways we are comforted by our own hubris.

Is it technically possible to run a Minetest/Luanti server as an .onion hidden service so that people playing have to necessarily use Tor and can't leak their IPs? Now, even if it is technically possible, would it be playable? It would be unusable for PvP and other fast-paced stuff, but would it be good enough for creative mode, or survival either without monsters or with good armor/weapons readily available?
Replies: >>273271

It should be possible, however the clients would have to use torsocks or some other thing to resolve the server address and the ping would be beyond horrid as onion routing is diametrically opposed to low latency.
A VPN is far a better option for sneeki gaymen as it only adds a single relay with a mostly fixed amount of lag barring high traffic congestion, though it's also far easier to ban.

I'm trying to get it to work with either my vita or 2DSXL but neither of them seem to be able to pick up on my computer. I worry that it has to do with the fact that my computer is plugged into my router with an ethernet cable and because of that the internet is just showing up as ETHERNET instead of the network name that the other two go through when connecting through wifi. I'm pretty sure that I have all my settings right, discoverability on this network and suchlike.

GBA files are so small and cute and easily emulated on potatoes tho!

Also, I personally like Klonoa on the GBA and Crash was overrated, an attempt that Sony made to have a mascot that's on par with Mario/Sonic and they failed. Clown from Saturn was also gay and failed....I wish Cortana failed....

Anywho, thinking 3d computing improves gameplay is the big gay. Yoshi's Island will always be better than Mario 64 and FF7 should have been on the SNES with sprites.

The Spyro games were kinda bad though. Needs moar flight simulation in first person. Failed chance at making another good first person gba game, there were a few good shooters but first person does not have to always be shooter. Why can't they accept this? Not that Spyro was in first person but it'd have improved it in either case. A raycast Spyro for the gba would be cool, just have flight sim levels/areas.

Seriously though people grew up neets with small drives and or limited Interweb speeds and or access. He and I only played the GBA for that reason. Now we're old and jaded and can't enjoy new things even if it's old so I probably won't download and play the PSX versions of some games now that I could because I just don't care. Their fault for making a game that pretends to be a port when it's a remake.

I never said that, you retard. I've seen anons on this board say the most ignorant things about "X," exposing their complete lack of knowledge about the subject they're criticizing or praising. This is common on any /v/ board. Normalfags like "X" because it's popular, while others with low critical thinking skills dismiss anything the mainstream enjoys without explaining why they think the game is bad. Most of what /v/ likes is also enjoyed by the most casual of fans.

>I never said it's bad.
<Klonoa isn't even good.
What did you mean, then? Saying "It's a good Kirby game" doesn't make sense when there are genuinely good Kirby games in both the mainline and spin-off series.

>There are better platformers on the PS1 honestly. I'd say I don't understand the love for Klonoa, but that's a fucking lie I know exactly why people like this
Everything you've said is purely subjective. You should have just stated upfront that you personally don't enjoy the game instead of being vague and avoiding proper criticism. Your post doesn't even present an argument; it just rambles about why Klonoa upset you.

I killed it a few tries later, but I still do not like it. Another shitty multiple enemies fight (at least for half of it). Often the best strategy is just to run around until a third one spawns and it starts attacking one of the other two. Then again once three of them ganged up on me for some reason. I think the main one doesn't attack from off-screen, but the other ones do. Their attacks also make dust go up, so often the screen is all filled up in that. Delayed attacks. Sure, he flinches with every attack, except when he gets hyper armor and doesn't flinch at all, I think that's when he is doing his dagger combo or something. It feels like I am forgetting something else too. Second phase technically should be easier, despite him hitting harder, but by that point I was always a bit tilted. In the second phase you have to wait for him to be locked in animation or his anti-heal attack is instant and always hits, except if you managed to get super far away. He has such attacks in phase 1 too, but not quite as obnoxious. Really hate that shit. Then there is the range of his attacks being inconstant. I think it expands during his main combo, if I remember correctly. Like he is far away and I am sure the first attack won't him, but then his second attack, or whichever it was, suddenly gains extra range and it hits. Oh yeah, the camera can get unlocked when he does his big dash move. Is that supposed to be intentional? I fucking doubt it, it happens when with many bosses through the series, iit always just stinks of shitty code that they never fixesx. There was some other bullshit like once I started next to the second phase and he just immediately started attacking on me, the moment the cut scene ended. Pretty sure some other janky shit happened too.
Actually I almost beat him first try and then I fell in a trap of getting worse for a while.
Of course, the bonfire is not that close either, with a bunch of annoying enemies on the way too.
Interesting thing is, when I played Sekiro, with very few exceptions I almost never got tilted when dying during that game. Dark Souls/Elden Ring always has a bunch of bullshit that is either intentional bullshit or jank.

Upgrade the PC first IMO, or buy some bluetooth peripherals (m+kb mainly; navigating with controls and touch screen fucking blow), too, if you really want a deck. Just know the deck can't handle a lot of games, chugs on newer ones that it can and chugs even more if you connect it to a higher-resolution display.

The deck is super sweet for older games and emulation, but if you also play more modern games I'd probably not bother with it and go for an upgrade instead.

I'll give you the rundown.

The date is CY0004. The space city known as Side 8chan was engulfed in nuclear flames. It was as though all life forms were annihilated, however, some anons struggled to survived. The barren lands were claimed by the Yellow Snake Clan, and so anons headed north.
Some took refuge within the Principality of Cake, and have stayed there since. Others took refuge in the home of another fat man. However he soon fell ill, and anons headed north.
They found a cozy little gas station, and saw that it was good. Sadly, the owner sold it soon after, and anons headed north.
They settled inside the basement of a fake Japanese videogame store, but the owner revealed himself to be a tyrant. They left and the store was left barren, and has remained that way since.
Anons, again, headed north, but this time they decided to build their own home from the ground up, a new gas station, this time made to last. Amidst all the labor, they found an little baby girl, abandoned on their door. They named her Z-tan and raised her as their own.
The date now is CY0010. It has been 5 years since the new home was built, and so far it has lasted. It may be small, but it is a cozy little place, with a large collection of arcade machines and vidya in the basement. A home built to last.

Let me get this straight:
<Side 8chan was engulfed in nuclear flames
It's 8kun being controlled by glowfag after Hotwheels give the ownership away?

<Yellow Snake Clan
I forgot the name, but are you talking about former mascot of OG 8chan or the "JOIN OR 404"?

<Some took refuge within the Principality of Cake, and have stayed there since. Others took refuge in the home of another fat man.
One side is Mark Mann, but whose the other fat man? Pic related?

<However he soon fell ill, and anons headed north. They found a cozy little gas station, and saw that it was good.
I wish to know what are the "gas stations"
<They named her Z-tan and raised her as their own.
So ZZZ-Tan is not /v/tan's other biological daughter? I know Vivian James is one of his biological daughter.

<It may be small, but it is a cozy little place, with a large collection of arcade machines and vidya in the basement. A home built to last.
I thought /v/tan looks depressed from all adventures, from Positron Uprising, Moot's Betrayal, 8chan First Exodus, and such.

About less than 2 years ago mainly on /v/. I lurked rarely in /b/ and /cow/ and learned about Mark Mann.. I'm not sure of Fat Man is zzztan's boss, and other missing OCs 2nd and 3rd pic related.

>Webring history is a complex subject that has mystified journalists and government agencies alike.
Its about "shared websites" that work together as one group of family, right?

I'll try to keep it as brief and simple as possible
>8chan(real) dies
>webring is made and anons hide on webring
>8kun is made and anon go back
>8kun sucks dick and anon up and leave
>anon consolidate on one webring site "fatchan"
>2 weeks and fatchan is kicked off by hosting company because "racism" and admin quits
>owner of the fatchan/v/ board moves to some zchan owned by a spammer known for often opening and closing imageboards
>anon go to zchan while some other go to 8chan(fake)
>2 months and admin of zchan shuts it down because ???
>owner of the /v/ board makes his own site called zzzchan
>5 years pass
>(you are here)

There are many nuances, twists, turns and names of actors thrown in the story including elements of speculation as to who did what, but I tried to strictly keep it neutral and only focused on this site side since that's what was asked. I can give you a longer version with all the details but that'd be a long ass post. All you need to know is that the userbase of 8chan, particularly this offshoot's, has been victim of extreme bad luck, target of a witch hunting campaign and that pretty much everyone involved in managing the sites that were part of the whole post 8chan death odyssey have been retards who made everything worse, and that some acted in bad faith.

So ZZZ-Tan is not /v/tan's other biological daughter? I know Vivian James is one of his biological daughter.
I think ztan is supposed to be this dumb kid /v/ babysits because she reminds him of what it was like to be young and have fun.
Vivian isn't quite his "biological" daughter, though what biological means for a personification is anyone's guess. Remember, she was created for a game design contest literally to own the SJWs. There's some art of /v/ literally punching her out of a giant dangerhair's gullet out there like Zeus battling Cronus. Unfortunately I don't know where I saved it.

>I thought /v/tan looks depressed from all adventures
Remember, he's us. Bitter, jaded, forced to become a nomad for the crime of wanting to play video games. More than that, he's old, he knows the endgame because he's seen it before and maybe taken more redpills than is strictly sane. He watched the old internet die and fears what might replace it. But somehow, despite it all, he's never quite given up hope, hope for a better future that he sees glimmers of even now.

Thanks for giving me some info.

>I think ztan is supposed to be this dumb kid /v/ babysits because she reminds him of what it was like to be young and have fun.
That's depressing... I wanted to have fun on 4chan and 8chan but faggots over there are assholes at my attempts, whether ironic or not.

>Remember, she was created for a game design contest literally to own the SJWs.
But what about Gilda; where does Gilda Marrs fit in with the stories or lore, despite Reddit being worst enemy of 4chan? Or did /v/ abandoned everyone except zzz-tan?

>Remember, he's us. Bitter, jaded, forced to become a nomad for the crime of wanting to play video games.
I wish to know more about it

The origin of the fatman is extremely simple to run down. The guy who made jschan wanted to make fun of fat people so he used the domain fatpeople.lol first and fatchan.org second, the "fatman" was just quick sketch of a fat dude that he made to use as a mascot.
>I would still heavily appreciate the longer post like I learn from the stories of 8moe
I'm too fucken lazy to actually type up a manuscript detailing all the shit that happened since 8chan went down, especially when I've already done this a number of times in the past and no one's had the common sense of saving a screencap or some shit. Also I'd be wary of trusting anything that comes out of that site, both Mark and Acid are known to lie out of their ass and spin their own fantasy version where they are always the heroes of truth and justice that saved 8chan and whatnot and anyone else who opposed them was part of an evil conspiracy who hated them just cuz, moreover Mark has been caught and admitted himself to samefagging and sockpuppeting to defend himself, so I'd be double wary of believing the words of any "fellow anonymous" users backing any of his wilder claims. Acid might just be a low IQ nigger lover, but Mark is a treacherous, backstabbing snake.

So is anything or everything from https://8chan.moe/site/res/7215.html information true, fabricated, or missing out? I know Mark tried to merchandise Gondola which was and is abhorrent ideas.

The site is named after a literal gas station logo that we then appropriated. For a while we had considered using the gas station guy from Persona 4 as mascot but eventually z-tan came about.

I work a desk job where the workload is extremely variable. Sometimes I'm busting my ass, other times I'm getting paid to just show up and keep my chair warm. Management has made it pretty clear that so long as it's not impacting your ability to actually do the work when shit pops off they don't care what we do during downtime.

With that in mind, what are some good games that are suitable for playing? Requirements will be as follows:
>must be able to run on a somewhat basic laptop
>must be either able to pause, or turn-based
>shouldn't require intense concentration even if can be paused (ex: Doom)
>preferably requiring strategic planning or just be somewhat complex
>preferably not super casual
For the most part I've been playing Rule the Waves, but looking to branch out

In general, i'd say you could just emulate old consoles like crazy, play NES, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, Playstation, Saturn. Even if you couldn't, by any chance, pause the game, you can always pause the program itself or load/save states. Only downside is the lack of sound.
In particular, i'd aim either to racing or shooting games.
>no strategy games
Well, you asked for lack of complexity

>>276247
Meme picture aside, it's a decent on-rail shooter with some few puzzles here and there, mostly carried not by the fever dream funny story, but by its unique style that keeps you hooked.
If it didn't click any interest for you it's okay, it might have been better to drop it and play something else instead of pushing yourself through it.

you haven't got to steal a game to crack it. Valve has also promised since the beginning that they've got continuity plans in place if their service stops. Not that we'll need their help or blessing anyway, with said cracks. If you literally can't buy it on steam or gog, you should have started with that
