my computer died last month
very sad
but getting a replacement and rericing my system has been fun
i use arch btw
i could have restored everything from a backup in a day
but since im already moving i decided to reinstall everything from scratch while reading the documentation of all programs i use to config them
i already made several improvements to my system and ditched a bunch of bloat i didnt need
this whole ordeal gave me a 1 week headstart on nofap and im now entering week 4
ig abstaining has only made my love for 2hus increase
i have literally never played a touhou game and im still not sure if its anime or not but the girls are hella cute

i got reminded of some old artists i used to like, i managed to find them thanks to the marvels of tag-based image archives (wink)
one of them has a personal website that endures to this day, full of p hot takes
usually artists are a bunch of faggots when it comes to software, but humbird has some p based posts on the subject, and i have respect for ppl who can appreciate software design
also he diligently archives all his work on his site instead of leaving everything scatter across 87 social media accounts like a bitch
he even uploaded some interesting stuff to the internet archive

i have lost 3 kg in like 2 weeks
on top of the computer problems i have also been busy with other stuff irl so i kinda forget to eat some days
i was seriously craving something sugary today
normally i prefer to stay home and stay hungry but it was so severe that i went out just to buy a large chocolate milkshake

from what i heard, its the same woman who provided the voices, but synthV didnt reuse the original voicebank, instead they had her rerecord everything
but there is over a decade between both samples, so ofc her voice isnt the same anymore
and ig the tech used by both voice synthesizers is different too, so it also doesnt help
im still learning all the *loids lore tbh
ill prolly write about it at some point
i also wrote a fanfic about slay the princess the other day
