Beyond watching most seasonal anime, I have been catching up on Tanaka Yoshiki's work in anime. He's the creator of LOGH, but also wrote Arslan Senki and a bit more obscure Tytania and Souryuuden.
Tytania was a wild ride, it felt like LOGH but replace imperialism with feudalism and I don't know if it was just so bad it turn good but it was a great comedy. Sadly the anime end without any sequel.

Ive been watching through the first three parts of Lupin as of recent. Been having fun with it, Ive watched part one and parts of two and three and have been having fun watching through everything I have and havent.

Yes. Vtubers aren't anime/manga related; they are eceleb streamers.
I guess a seiyuu thread would be on-topic, but that wouldn't mean a seiyuu who is also vtuber on her free time would be for example. However there were anime with vtubers in them and those would be fine as long they don't become just an excuse to have a regular vtuber thread.

I can't give a review for it yet, but I recently torrented Haruhi Suzumiya after the OP image of the banner thread reminded me and watched the first three episodes of it. Wasn't expecting it to go full schizo by episode 2. I can't remember how contemporaries look, but the anime kinda looks like it belongs five years later than it does (in other words, better than expected). I'll watch more of it soon.

Oh, I was already watching Haruhi Suzumiya in broadcast order and just got confused because I was looking at the wrong (chronological) watch order while having a brain DDoS attack.

I just finished watching 幼女戦記 and cannot really put into words how I  feel about it. Since as an isekai it's not really what I expected remotely at all but it's still feels like it was made on a ごみ budget despite being not  generic isekai #3596.

Ok, finished reading it.
The manga can be split into 3 parts: the incident, extended flashback and the fallout.
The first part just pulls you right in the meat of things in part by tiddies and never let's character or you get any rest, very engaging and entertaining.
The extended flashback adds more context to the incident, doesn't drag it's feet and felt needed.
The fallout felt weaker to me ether because the characters started leaving the frame of the story or I was getting burned out on it. But we do see blank slate character actually doing something for once, and having agency.
The ending: it was intentionally unfinished I think, but still very frustrating with the amount of sometimes over explaining this manga had to have it just end.

I think it's good but for some reason I just couldn't take it seriously I just laughed out loud at some serious revelations but that's a me problem.

Also only at the end I saw that main character and his homeroom teacher look almost exactly the same as characters from Sensei wa Koi wo Oshierarenai.
If you wanted a good end for them then check it out, I liked it a lot.
