A thread for giant robots, giant robot enjoyers, and people sexually attracted to giant robots.

We got all sorts of robot here, you like big stompy robots? You like humanoid fast robots? You like big robots? You like small robots? You like sexy robots trick question, all the robots are sexy WELL COME ON DOWN.
I've been getting an itch to play MW5 again, this however needs assloads of mods to really polish that PGI turd but it does however, get fairly shiny.
Drop command came out not to long ago and it tries to be Battletech but videogame with you able to pilot the full combined arms gambit. From powerarmor to mechs you can pilot it all. Small team and a passion project it is a little jank. Has a demo. IMO needs bit of polish but I respect the guys going after their dream.
There is Armored core which needs little introduction. There is apparently a coop mod for 6 which actually manages to add invasions and works pretty seamlessly from what I can tell, might be cool.

Currently I'm on a newgame+ run of Dolls Nest which is something like armored core meets Blame but with anime girls. An odd contender coming from Nitroplus known for their visual novels and reeks of "this is our first time doing this" yet oozes soul. Now has a manga called Dolls Nest. Yoyo is the cutest and Hait is best girl with Jane Doll being an autismo. I'm sure she'll get better.

So anons, what are you stompin around in?
I love giant robots

I have tons of games to stomp around in. Mechas is one of my favorite themes in vidya. Le't start with

Metal Bringer

This is a comfy twinstick shooter about the daughter of the head scientist behind a humanity sheltering project deep underground struggling against a overprotective clanker that has put all the survivors into eternal cryo-sleep in the shelter and its amok machines. You start out in the residential area in the deepest part of the shelter and fight your way up to the mainframe itself.

One of the most fun features of the game is the ability to build your own robots with parts you take from your enemies. There are multiple returning bosses you can farm if you want, but you don't have to since most of the crusty rampage automatons are powerful enough.

Graphics, eh. They look good when you use filters. Otherwise you'll get some eye cancer. Music is sadly not that memorable, but not annoying either.

One criticism of this I have are the optional challenges you can do for more resources. They are random generated like the rest of the map and can be really hard to simply impossible. Some are also a waste of your time.

8/10, I've really enjoyed this one.
