And you wonder why shmups have been dead for 25 years.
The Difficulty Enjoyer image was made when Silksong released last year and people (read: normalfags who are exceptionally bad at video games) kept bashing their heads into the hard areas early on, losing all their money and spending all their subweapon ammunition on bosses they hadn't yet learned. People told them to take breaks and pace themselves, which is legitimate advice for many things in life including hard video games, and they collectively got even more butthurt about their lack of skill - and their fundamental misunderstanding of the medium and genre, which they perceive as epic lore with a bunch of bullshit getting in the way. Hence all the bitching about not being able to move from room 1 to room 2 because a jump is too awkward.
The image is half joke, half truth. It's funny that the redditor who made that image probably had a better understanding of modern games and normalfags' culture of playing them in the worst way possible than most people here.

This is sadly somewhat true.
However, >>3166334 and >>316342 are excrement from a subhuman who is somehow both too lazy to press Return after typing out the post number, and too lazy to click on the post number since doing that automatically inserts a \r\n. Astounding.
