But you'll know what i mean if Ayane has that christmas variant of her main purple outfit.
Tina for example has her titties out in another outright, i think Kasumi has the least nudity out of all the girls.
Its funny, that itself is confusing, but that's NOTHING on the absolute hellish autistic rabbithole of modding compilations for DOA2 on dreamcast, there's legitimately, I kid you not, over 100 roms of that singular game with different outfit packs, and not a single screenshot online compiling any one of them. I downloaded a few that were supposed to have nude mods and still haven't even gone through every one.

Any reason for using cxbx over xemu?
I don't really know much about xbox emulation other than it's not exactly in a good state and requires a somewhat modern gpu to have decent performance.

that said i don't really even emulate xbox anymore since i just play on actual xboxes
at least for DOA2 cxbx works just fine.
also im running a 1080 and its 60fps at 4x the internal res.

I had an actual xbox until the recent breakthrough in emulation. It just wasn't worth keeping around because how much of a monster it is.

I get why some people like using real hardware but not for me it's more of a pain to do so where it's the opposite with the Wii because of it's controllers.

for me i just got tired of the hassle and migraines from setting them up anytime a single game, demanded above all else, to be played a specific way (and with specific drivers), or god forbid the emulator remember your last controller config. just popping in a disc or going through a menu to pick a rom is heavenly, and i use crt's so theres that too.
i DO however emulate newer consoles, switch and the ps4 namely.
the thing i use most of the emulators for now is testing if a romhack i'm about to load on a real console really works, and in this case,

Barely have that issue at all myself I use native res  with rare exceptions for specific games  and just click play unless it's a specific game.

Only a few times I needed to make changes to settings because a minor problem and it's very game specific.

Sometimes a sexy outfit can be sexier than full nudity, i agree.
BUT, in your specific example, the DOA games, full nudity probably doesn't feel as erotic because the character models while good looking, lack many details that would make full nudity meaningful.
It's not about just adding nipples and calling it a day, DOA's girls lack details in certain areas like knees, elbows, feet, soles, armpits, navel (the belly button looks like dimple or a scar, and it is also too high) and the groin area.
Doesn't help that all the girls share the same skin textures (that only gets darker or paler based on the girl) and said skin texture has no detail looking more like rubber.
So, in that particular case, sexy outfits are more sexy than full nudity because in that case your brain will fill the gaps (the details that the naked models lack).
