Truly the past is a foreign country

EA never made shit, they were just the publishers. Sim City was made by Maxis, it's right there in the corner.

OP, you dumbass. EA never made anything besides the annual sportsball slop ever. They usually buy up big studios who almost buckle under the load of the business side or due to a retarded decision and then gut the living crap out of it. Origin for example had to resort to a partnership with EA, because Chris Roberts cinematic vision made the first Wing Commander hilariously expensive to ship.among other things. Robert's dumb design was just the noisiest example. Pic related. Yes, these are 5 1/2 inch literally floppy disk that had been on the way out two years before Wing Commander was released.

I'm thinking your are lying faggot. Veilguard flopped so hard, that EA fired the entire writing team.

Cool thread faggot, here's a garbage post to go along with it >>276083

Like >>276076 said, EA is merely a publisher and its power lies in giving money to developers. Problem is, their higher-ups have a tendency to being scheming bastards and kept impoverishing developers to gut their teams out and skin their franchises. That, and they’re talentless hacks with no taste or intuition on how to handle IPs, so the franchises they scalped generally went nowhere unless they were yearly releases of FEEFA or DLC packages for Sims 4.
I remember reading some well thought-out post a few months ago on particular cases of EA being treacherous scumbags but sadly I didn’t screencap it nor remember which thread it was.

Isn't EA a publisher? They don't make games.

I remember when FIFA was a sweet football/soccer simulation, nowadays it's a terrible mixture of all the worst aspects of a simulator and an arcade, with no charm of either, and a huge focus on microtransactions and online PvP, it's a disgrace to the sport and I have no idea how football/soccer fans still buy it.

I'd rather play the PS1 titles than the current ones.

I akways thought Konami's ISS Pro / PES was better.

I prefer it too, Winning Eleven used to be peak before Konami killed it off, I'm just mentioning that FIFA was good too at its peak, not neccessarily the best of them all.
