Started to play dragon dogma, having fun as an strider, unlocked all its skill and moved to ranger, when i finish unlocked all its skill, I will move to magic archer. Adventuring with my qt loli mage.
Holy shit the duchess is a fucking slut, I thought she was going to tell me about a conspiracy or something, since I was investigating corruption and stuff.

This game had so much potential. You can tell alot is missing but the game is still incredibly fun. I think dragons dogma 2 is the first game ive been excited for in a very long time. I was a rogue
>>224379
It looks like it's just Dragons Dogma but fully realized this time. That makes me pretty excited. Even if it's just as good as the old game, which was a flawed gem, then that's still a win to me.

She's the "intended" love interest. Realistically there's no reason not to go with she-goat plus witch.

Someone post the pics. Please, I've been looking for them for months.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I've been wanting more dragons dogma but the trailer being mostly just reused content is worrying. Plus nu-capcom.
>>224379
>rogue
I meant to say ranger. I also played as a sorcerer which was pretty insane. Having 3 loli magical girls that would spam aoe magic was fun. It felt overpowered until the grim reaper started showing up and killing our entire team permanently with one attack. I dont know how they expected you to deal in that dungeon; I felt like I had to exploit the game to win by saving up special arrows and spamming the grim reaper with those whenever he appeared using an ability that fired arrows like a machine gun.

Yes but they respawn, with a handful of exceptions. it's tied into the story.
>>224383
There was going to be a Salvation sorceress-type love interest NPC but it got cut and thematically rolled into Selene, you can see it in the artbook. if Dragon's Dogma 2 is recycling cut concepts the way it seems with the lion people, maybe we'll see her make an appearance.

I would have liked if apart from bitterblack isle they would have added another village to explore and do quests in it.
I would have loved if they also added Orcs like they were supposed to.
>I think dragons dogma 2 is the first game ive been excited for in a very long time. I was a rogue
I am not, the moment i saw a nigger in medieval armor i knew the game was going to be filled with globohomo garbage.
Mason in the first game was already out of place, but at least he was dressed as a sandnigger and claimed he came for far away.
In this one you have niggers going full "WE WUZ MEDIEVAL KNIGHTS N'SHIT"

We already saw niggers in the reveal trailer so that is already confirmed

Yeah, Capcom won't stop them. Doesn't mean the big mod hosting sites will allow problematic content. Just looks at what nexus does. Change some fagflags in Spiderman? Banned. Mod out the pronouns from Starfield? Banned. And as far as I know there aren't any alternatives that don't do the same.

"intended" is a strong word. True she got her own cutscene, but the devs probably didn't have time to flesh out other prominent love interests like hers. Almost any NPC in the whole game can be a love interest, regardless of your sex. If you keep talking with one NPC constantly (or gifting them something they like), you'll eventually see a pink aura around them, meaning their affection for you is maxed. There's a quest that can be easily missed since the game doesn't explain shit for a lot of things; After you defeat the golem in the witchwood and talk with Selene, go leave the witchwood and go back in right after. A tablet will be left where you spoke with her. Pick it up and bring it to the dragonforged. After a cutscene, it turns into a ring that maxes out an NPC's affection for you. This helps prevent an unintended NPC becoming a loved one. If you don't know how to give an NPC a gift, you initiate a conversation with them, and you'll see a "give present" option in the first dialogue they give. Offer the ring, and it will set it in stone. This may not always work, as if another NPC gets maxed affection before the big battle at the great wall, they may overtake the role.

>>224404
Modern Crapcom's been willingly changing to accommodate these parasites as of late (they didn't learn anything from DmC apparently). I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of this ended up true. The last part seems the most likely with how Crapcom tried to shame those who modded Ashley in the remake and think modding=cheating.

From what I've seen of the gameplay of 2 so far, it's making me more cautious. From what I've seen, they allow only 4 skills and one class specific skill button (rather than 3 for each primary and secondary weapons/skill set for most classes). The classes they've shown look alright, but the combat shown seems to be more context focused and flashier. Say you're a fighter, and an enemy is down. Your character will stab said enemy rather than just do the normal attack chain. Things like the environments being affected by player and monster actions are cool, but may become tedious at best, and detrimental at worst as you go on. This makes me wonder how much player agency will be sacrificed in favor to trying to promote the more flashier aspects of the new game.
oh yeah, is the world difficulty mod any good or is it shit?

Same here, i mean the first one is a silly artistic choice, the second is clearly propaganda.
The gameplay will probably be good as the first one, but if i have to watch and hear pozzed trash during my playthrough then not even good gameplay can save it.
I said this in another thread, if The Last Of Us 2 had good gameplay but the rest (kikemann's shit) was left unchanged, it would STILL be a shit game.

I guarantee it is going to have "body types" in the character creator so I sure hope you don't give them your money to support that practice.

Really a shame since the in first game, the only niggers were niggers for a reason a la mason. Token characters are never helpful. Darkies have an identity of their own and efforts to include them in any narrative or setting should keep that in mind.

It's because adding niggers to a fantasy world excludes it from being any kind of fantasy world any sane person would want to be part of. What kind of escape is that? People leave their homes and birthplaces they grew up in to get away from niggers, who the fuck would willingly go to a completely optional fantasy world constructed for the sole purpose of enjoyment and escape if it was full of niggers?

It immediately pulls you out of immersion and enjoyment simultaneously and brings you right back into the real world. And not just any real world, but the worst aspect of it.

Bitterblack sle was a blatent attempt to capitalize on the sudden rise in popularity of Dark Souls, and it shows in the atmosphere, story, and the approach to encounter difficulty. To be fair, before the re-release as DD:DA, Dragon's Dogma was very niche, basically a sleeper hit.

BBI is good for powergaming, as the quickest leveling strats revolve around the obscene amount of experience some of those bosses provide, that make it possible to go straight from the encampment to BBI and never have to leave. It's for people who have already beaten Dragon's Dogma a few times; a shame that Dragon's Dogma has no way to have multiple characters without gaming the system.

The fact that they never gave player the option of multiple save file was retarded, same as not giving the chance to make your entire party yourself rather than just a single pawn.
But once you kill the Dragon, you already have a post game dungeon, the everfall, no need to add another one.
It would have been better to have another region to explore instead, i personally would have liked a village raided by orcs, or something like that.

If only it didn't have lots of repeating rooms with only tiny differences, then maybe it could have passed as a new region, but to me still feels like a dungeon.

If you play on PC, you technically can have multiple save files. It involves going into where the game stores the save file, cut/paste the save file to a different location, then booting up and starting a new game (doing the same process if you're looking to make one of each class. Just make separate folders). There are a couple guides online on how to do it.

By preordering you're just pridefully waving your blind faith in a company. You haven't even paid for a game, since it hasn't come out. You're paying for the marketing and false advertising you've bought into.

>Playing Dragon's Dogma with no pawns
I don't think i would have liked DD as much as i did (or even at all) if it wasn"t for the pawn system, that really is what sets the game apart from othet RPGs and the pawn AI, that is still unmatched.
It really makes you feel as if you are adventuring with actual companions rather than some dumb NPC controlled by the CPU like the escort missions on any other game.
If only i could make my own party myself...
Every time i need a new pawn i spend way too much time looking for some decent looking one, as the vast majority of them look awful.

That may be true at first, but once you reach a certain level, leveling up takes way more time and so you are going to keep your pawns longer than you do at lower levels.

Now that i think about it, since lots of shit got cut in Dragon's Dogma, i don't know why Crapcom just didn't port the shit available in Dragon's Dogma online in the base game, like the new areas clothing, monsters and so forth.
It would have been lazy, in perfect Crapcom style, like when they put Street Fighter X Tekken content in SF4, but it would have been better than nothing.
How do I justify buying another Type 01, Type 02 game? How do I justify buying form a company that is pro-ESG, removing sexiness and has just become turbo anti-modding?
A genuine question. I want to, but I feel horrible about it.
I live in Osaka, where their HQ is. As I have come back to playing some of their games lately, I even considered trying to join the company, but I doubt it can be saved with this much rot already in it, nor that I alone would be able to do anything, if I even get hired on any level.

And this.
Remember that Crapcom went to shit before the ESG jewish crap.
Even if they game wasn't pozzed (which it is, unless things change before release date, something i really doubt) you can be sure that it will be the usual 1/3 of the game, that you'll have to complete by spending an insane amount of money of microtransactions and DLC's to have the full package.
It will take several YEARS before the game will be somewhat complete and playable.
Also, i never liked that Itsuno, the guy is competent regarding gameplay, but obviously has a fucked up perception of what is supposed to be cool (remember that he's a self proclaimed fan of Ninja Theory's DmC), and shouldn't be allowed to have a say in shit like story and ESPECIALLY character design.
So the game is probably going to have good gameplay as the first one, but everything else will be shit.
I already saw furry shit and niggers in medieval armor, and let me tell you that the furry shit is the thing i am less disgusted about.
I would be able to turn a blind eye if niggers were only a showcase to what you could make with the character creation mode, but apparently they are going full "we wuz knights n'shit" in story mode, so it is not even something you can avoid.

It has denuvo and is windows 10 only. There will most likely be workarounds to get it working on other systems, but such workarounds usually don't work with online mode even when denuvo isn't a factor. Unless you're using Windows 10, an operating system which is so bloated it slows games down noticeably by itself (with denuvo further hampering performance), you aren't allowed to share pawns in the game that you paid for.
It's also 70 dollars despite most of the content shown in the trailers, screenshots, and demos being reused assets taken straight from the first game, which was made from scratch and cost 60 at release.
Even if the faggotry in the game was so unnoticeable that I could justify it, denuvo alone is enough to kill any interest I had in purchasing the game.
Anti-consumer practices can easily make any game unpurchaseable and crapcom as an international company has the worst parts of Japan combined with the worst part of global corporatism.

That's not Dragon's Dogma.
Is the difference between easy, normal and hard mode only about how fast the stamina drops and how many items you can carry?
Because if that is, i see no reason even playing on normal if the only difference is that your character gets tired a few steps like a 90 year old with a missing lung, or that it start going as slow as a snail if you are carrying an apple with you.

It's clear that forcing to use other people's pawn was due to Crapcom forcing the devs to shove some kind of online functionality to a type of game that really didn't need one.
Maybe if the vast majority of other people's pawn weren't so fugly maybe it wouldn't be such a major criticism.
If it was for me, i would have given the player the ability to make his own party, and the hire other people's pawn only for outside missions like with MGS peace walker and the mother base.

I admit i played the game on easy, but simply because the game states that the only different is that stamina drops faster but enemies aren't harder or any more challenging.
So what's the point?
I think even on easy the stamina drops way too fast, as if your character is a fatass with severe asthma, i can't even imagine how annoying it must be seeing your character getting tired after two attacks on hard mode.
Characters getting tired must be the worst game mechanic ever implemented in vidya.

Well yeah, we learnt this months ago.
We also found in screenshots that body type is described as "The person's gender", essentially meaning that the player must choose between two genders. Additionally, demo footage has shown that when pawns describe ogres targeting women they use the word "woman". Even the western twitter account of DD says that ogres like "women" specifically. So it seems like that was just an ultimately meaningless measure added so that the gajin don't screech.
Its still pretty bad that they would appease schizophrenic westerners in any way, of course, but I think its important to be accurate.

the only way to win an arguments against the loud, stupid useful idiots/evil advisors is a well thought out presentation, with compelling infographics and hard facts communicated in a succinct way (and make sure your citations are sound). Also people will assume you're as greedy as them, so be certain to have a reason prepped as to why you're helping. So there will be a jack-of-all-trades vocation. Sounds interesting, but it might not be worth it if they prevent access to the best/ultimate abilities from each vocation (especially with how unlocking new ones requires access to certain NPCs and doing their quests). Having to do said quests for access to other vocations works for immersion, but I feel they did this to prevent the ability to unlock all vocations as early as lvl 10 like you could in 1. Between that, requiring camping/inns to fix your max health, and making ferrystones more of a pain to get to force the player to use carts, I'm getting a sense that they're trying to pad the game out (despite saying the map is 4x bigger than 1).

Still have no interest in getting it due to modern crapcom more than likely adding more of their censorship and pandering outside of what is already known. The game is sure to also have denuvo and other retarded anti-cheat/piracy/modding software that will affect the game's performace. Sadly, despite all that, I know there will still be plenty of cattle and braindead loyal fans that will support the game due to 1's cult classic status. Might be a fool's hope, but I'm hoping some will remember how bad crapcom's gotten over the years.

Given crapcom's recent attempt at reigning in on mods, I wouldn't be surprised that they either add the software they tried to add to their old games, or some new unmentioned software to prevent modding. Never underestimate a company like crapcom to keep making even stupider decisions (this is the same company that locked content on their game disks behind a DLC paywall rather than letting player unlock via playing the game, and one of their games (asura's wrath) having it's ending locked behind DLC).

I'm counting on it either being a large enough game to attract schizo tranny crackers, or their own stupidity and ineptitude resulting in an unencrypted Steam version upload that blows it wide open. Many such cases.

Even if it wasn't pozzed, even if it didn't have the dejewvo shit, I still probably wouldn't touch it. After the way they made Monster Hunter utterly braindead I just don't have the interest to see what they're going to do with this.

And furfags, considering their shitty idea to add anthropomorphic animals.
What the fuck were they thinking.

99823e is clearly niggerpill trying to be subtle.
He sticks out like a sore thumb as usual, no matter how many "innovative tactics" that jew faggot tries.
Dragon's DOgma 2 confirmed ruined. There's now a video of the full character creation. Those leg slider options are both for fat/thickness, not length. The minimum player height is 160.

You can't make pretty characters, they're all ugly on purpose and have to be huge women of middle of the road tit size.
