Anon, you may want to rephrase that as you're basically throwing anything with an arcade origin, and even some single player games, under the bus for their "fun" being that the player becomes extremely skilled at playing a game. As "You're playing the same game over and over again while days,weeks and months pass by" for the purposes of attaining a higher score. With entire genres such as sports games, rhythm games, racing games, fighting games, FMV games, platforming games, puzzle games, beat 'em ups, shmups, maze games, etc.
It doesn't explain anything and just throws a list at a person without any context of what game I'm referring to.
