Have you lifted today? No? Go find something heavy. Pick it up. Now put it back down. Good. Do that a dozen more times.

share stories of retards in public gyms here. I fully believe public commercial gyms bring out the most special specimens of human on this godforsaken planet. I want to laugh at their tales.
I go first
>be me
>anytime fitness
>most business is elderly people taking wellness lessons from underpaid "coaches"
>eventually they build up enough confidence to wander onto the machines with normal gym goers
>one guy, hella creepy
>think "whatever he is just trying to better himself like the rest of us"
>let him take the chest press machine
>continue my workout
>look over at him half hour later
>he has legs up where your hands go, is leg pressing on the chest press
>lmao wtf
>see him every saturday for a month
>its the only exercise he does
I used to go to a public gym in the middle of nowhere like 5 days a week.

One day a hot fitness girl, I've never seen walks in.
Wants to use the cardio machine.
Only has two open, one next to me and another one next to an older gentlemen.
Decides to pick the one next to me.
We lock eyes for a few moments.
She finishes her session before me on the machine, and I go to the weight area after my timer is done.
We run into each other again, in the leg area of course.
Talk for a bit.
Ask her name and she gives me her insta.
Find out she is pretty popular in the fitness space.

More of a question than a story, but why do I know several fat people who have been going to gyms for months/years and they're still fat?
>t. fat since I graduated from high school and have mostly led a NEET lifestyle; never gone to a gym

Big picture: an hour a day of exercise does not undo the other unhealthy hours.

The man with the most impressive core I've ever witnessed (and instructed me), was a possibly autistic man who was fat. And I've been smoked by MARSOC instructors or had very impressive athletes from all walks of life work out with me / do friendly competitions. Granted, he was injured in a driving accident, leading to his massive fat gain before evidently being some hot shit—but to this day I've never been so humiliated with ab-related exercises. Like the other anon said, the other hours count too.
