Have you lifted today? No? Go find something heavy. Pick it up. Now put it back down. Good. Do that a dozen more times.

Whats the general consensus on mentzer High intensity training? Most exercise programs are fake and gay. Who can you believe ?
Hit seems to go counter to most meme training regimen, which comes to me as no surprise.
The cattle do everything in their power to fuck up everything that takes an effort and thought. By studying mentzer i've come to realize how easy somethings can be if you sit down and thing about it.
The metzer system is defined by low volume reps lifting heavy. Big idea right ? Why cant it be that simple?

I attempt to follow HIT. I will do a workout and rest for three days in between, so usually, I do it twice a week. Since I primarily exercise at home, it is difficult for me to reach absolute failure within one set simply because of my equipment and the fact that I do not have a spotter. If you don't have access to a spotter willing to help with the negatives, find a gym with a good range of machines. I feel like Mike designed HIT to be more machine-based, especially with his connection to Arthur Jones and the Nautilus equipment. My current setup at home revolves around Powerblock equipment. Without a spotter at home, I usually pre-exhaust myself by doing a few extra sets before I feel I have gone to failure as best as I can.

For those of you without a spotter, a mirror can help. But pushing yourself into a gym would be better.
