In ye olden days, men and women of all ages would gather at fairs and festivals. Today, there is almost nothing that brings people together and folk culture has been all but extinguished from Western Europe and especially America. Communities have been splintered and families have been atomized. This makes us weak and lubricates the dissolution of our identity. It turns a people with common heritage into millions of consumers with no past or future.
Another aspect of importance is that folk festivals allowed men and women to meet and marry. Now, after you graduate from collage, there is no opportunity to actually meet a woman organically except for work and bars. I live out in one of those towns that cuckservatives claim will be able to snap into action and save America if they kill Trump. And apart from a few notable community events which are, by en large, attended solely by old people, rural America is a cultural desert. When the boomers die, I honestly do not believe that even these flea markets and oktoberfest events will continue. And then, each "community" will deteriorate into thousands of isolated houses where no one does anything together. We retreat into our social media platforms completely, finding false community there, under the watchful eye of the jewish website owners.
Folk culture means dressing in clothes that celebrate your national identity, singing songs that impart your culture to the next generation, and of course drinking and feasting with your neighbors. It is cute, it is wholesome, and it is the manifestation of nationalism and pride. Marching in military uniforms and shooting guns is cool but if you want your culture to be more meaningful than empty military service to the state, it needs to look more like a folk festival. We need places where men and women can be happy and dance. And what reinforces traditional gender roles more than folk dress for men and women, dancing, and celebration of old traditions?
Once we reclaim power from the jews, how can we rebuild our culture?
As an American, I believe that folk dress for men should include tri-corner hats and 18th century style coats. Male folk costume tends to be martial in nature, celebrating the man's role as protector and his duty to the community. Women's costume ought to wear flowing, linen dresses and straw hats with ribbons. Really, women have a lot of options for national costume. And of course, regional differences ought to be distinct and celebrated.
In terms of festivals (in America), we need to restore the mid-summer festival. This has been a core element of European tradition for at least 3 thousand years. It is idiotic how we allowed industrial capitalism to strip this away. We must reconnect with the land, to root ourselves and our blood with the soil. Obviously, Thanksgiving is wonderful but needs more social aspect. Thanksgiving parades are cool I guess but we need more interaction. Dances, stuff for children, rituals, etc. Then again, maybe Thanksgiving is too cherished by people to change so a new holiday needs to be added to celebrate the folk's community in the autumn.
Christmas, again, needs to get people out of their homes and into their community. We have cars so we could be caroling all over the place. Yet instead of utilizing technology to reach out and connect with our neighbors, we retreat into our houses and open presents. Our ancestors gave gifts to everyone in their community, not just their children. And thus, everyone was better connected and rooted in their community. Wassailing is such a splendid custom since you would go from house to house bringing joy and gists, and receiving gifts in return.
Easter, again, an ancient holiday. Easter egg hunts are actually really great, very interactive for children. Glad they still exist (but they're dying because of multiculturalism). We need more of this and other things. More traditions, more community, etc.
May Day needs to be reclaimed from the marxists. That is for garlands and may poles. How the fuck did we let communists take it over?
4th of July is actually a pretty good holiday as it stands. Watching fireworks together is the way.
There must be more holidays. And we need county fairs in every county. Fuck walmart and throw-away culture. We need to bring people together to recycle unwanted products. We could cut landfills in half by just giving away or selling our unwanted items back into the community.
