Most jobs are indeed bullshit and revolve around pretending to be busy in order to be allowed to not be homeless a little longer. It's demoralizing as fuck to know you can get fired at any time and there's nothing for you to do. Be as independent from jobs as possible. Focus on lowering your expenses instead of just increasing income. Own a home instead of paying mortgage or rent. Grow food. Share living area instead of living alone.

Unironically this. If you're at your computer and spend your downtime attempting to learn something useful to your job instead of talking you're an exemplary employee at most jobs. It's astounding. I mean, Captian Nemo mode would be practically space tier a project with how expensive things are....I don't want to be caught in airspace but sneaky war subs would  attack me as well, or worse imprison me for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. So land obviously is the only option event though it's not what I'd prefer. An aeroponic garden in some expensive pod is what I'd prefer, or dome, or sub, etc, far far away.
