The obscure anime series From the New World can be interpreted as a Schmittian critique of liberal utopianism. The series is set in a future society long after mankind's history of bloodshed. Their society is, essentially, an depoliticized community without conflict or the friend-enemy distinction.

Those in the series who are called "karma demons" or "fiends" are also labeled in a way similar to Schmitt's designation of an "outlaw of humanity." War is condemned, but executions remain. Midway through the series it even explicitly talked about this utopian society's conception of human rights, where the Ethics Committee decides on raising the age at which one is entitled to human rights so that they can dispose of karma demons, fiends, or others perceived to be bad eggs. So in a way along the lines argued by Schmitt or Wunenburger, human rights are represented as having inhumane consequences and totalitarianism deriving legitimacy from the principles of human rights.

No, I still believe that there should be strict social and moral standards, and that non-White/Japanese shouldn't be treated as human. Mr. Black and White thinker.

I've watched that anime. All the human characters are basically jews who turned everyone else else into pigs

And OF COURSE the christcuck would like the subhumans in this show
I think OP is largely correct to read the anime as a critique of progressive/liberal ideas of social organization, though I haven't read enough Schmitt to say much about that angle. For anyone considering watching it, you should be warned that it contains a bit of both yuri and yaoi. perhaps OP is a fag, hm...

Humans plus psychic powers are superior to those without, and should prevail. They should have just killed the others rather than turn them into rat people though.

Can anyone actually say if this is worth watching? It sounds a bit interesting but it also sounds like it might be some pseudo-intellectual trash like Evangelion or Madoka.
Also I ♡ yuri but (male) gayshit doesn't sound good. How prominent and graphic is it, and how is it portrayed?

The yuri and yaoi are both referencing Huxley's brave new world where children are indoctrinated into pursuing promiscuity and homosexuality, as it is used as a tool of social control. The series is fairly explicit that it's society works the same way.

The plot's conclusion is not terribly satisfying, but it is at least thematically/philosophically coherent. Watching it, my impression is that the protagonists are meant to be empty husks of human beings and that their society is held in low regard by the author. In other words, I agree with OP about the critique element. However, this makes the story a little dull. It compensates this with atmospheric worldbuilding. The author is obviously inspired by typical dystopian literature like 1984, Fahrenheit, and Brave New World - to which it partially owes its name, along with the Dvorak symphony. I would say it's worth watching, if only because I don't think there's another anime quite like it.

It's basically hand holding and head pats on both counts. There might be a kiss, but I honestly can't remember.
