What is your favorite VN soundtrack?

Soundtracks from Saya No Uta, Sekien No Inganock and Yume Miru Kusuri remain in my memory for the longest time among all I know.

Maybe not the best as music, but very well fitting the content they accompanied.

There are a few involuntary coprophagia scenes.
Other than that it's supposed to be a suspenseful mystery story, but I can't say that I found any of it engaging. They probably decided to make a VN with a sadist protagonist who forces cute girls to eat his and each other's shit and then created the story as an afterthought.

Not him, but I thought you made a comment about the involuntary part. And he said it already, so why does it bother you if he said anything redundant here on /b/? What about puke? Back flow was quite difficult in the setup in vid related.

Personally, I find it worse not to draw ankles in that perspective than scat in several routes of that VN, at most one scene per route.

Took some time to listen to all those songs again.

I think this is the least spooky or disturbing instrumental song in that VN soundtrack.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqA_1wKQPHo
I like the instruments here the most among the rest in that VN. Other songs resembled standard classical orchestral music mostly, with some jazzy streaks or choral harmonies thrown in. Not bad in themselves, but less striking in my opinion. They reminded me of the soundtrack from Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura sometimes, which was also good.

As for Yume Miru Kusuri, the previous example still stands out the most. This one is the second best for me.

How come no one mentioned Umineko? Pretty much all of its tracks are really great, but here are some that come to mind first.
https://yewtu.be/watch?v=4AHOh9tTNfo The piano part (1:28 ~ 2:24) is some of the best and most beautiful music I have ever heard in general.
