It's that fucked up one in the pics i sent so it doesn't even have a sleeper berth, but that's honestly good for me because I'd want to extend the sleeper as long as possible on the chassis to really maximize the "rolling house" gimmick that cabovers have the most room to pull off. Also you gotta understand even if it was in great condition I'd want to replace some things no matter what like the suspension, adding air ride as well as replacing the leaf springs if they aren't in really good condition, and the transmission which is over 70 years old on that truck.
Other than what the pics show, this is the description
>262 Cummins, 10 speed transmission, SQHD 411 rearends, 230 inch wheel base, motor runs, needs rewiring, airlines and interior, Page and Page suspension. Delivery available for additional cost. I have recently added the blue sleeper and it goes with the truck.
oh well fuck the guy added a sleeper onto it. Whatever I would take it off anyway because really the biggest purpose, for me, of a truck in that style is maximizing the room you have to work with using your chassis. Guy's selling it for only five grand, problem is I don't have a place to put the damn thing while doing all the work it needs to be, first, legal and, second, something I'd like to spend all day every day in.
I'll try to describe a bit here what I'm talking about with the space you get using some really awful pictures on that same listing.
You see that vertical thing in picrel2 at the middle of the fuel tanks? I'll call that thing 1.
You see that thing in picrel2 that's almost horizontal, kinda tilted, where the tires are at? That's a fifth wheel sliding plate, I'll call it fsp.
The FSP is where trailer attaches. That is the pivot point. The "sliding plate" part of the name is because you can slide that thing closer to or further away from the front of the truck, effectively moving the pivot point of the trailer.
You don't want your cab to extend so far that it would have a potential of coming in contact with a trailer being hauled. thing 1 is at a good place where you could safely extend the cab that far back and not have to worry about fucking it up against a trailer, but it can go farther. I just took picrel3 of some other guys truck to show an example of a safe amount of distance between the tractor and trailer.
With all this information, if you look at the lovely picrel1 you may be able to figure about how much room you really would have to extend a cab on that frame. A frame, I will point out, that I could replace with a longer frame.
FUCK man imagine all the shit you could do with that much room. You could put a shitter and a shower in, along with an electric range and a couch and table, and that's not even considering the bed itself. THAT, my friend, is THE DREAM.
