I'm far right, but most of the political commentators I listen to are far left. I much prefer listening to them because they always talk as if internet schizos are this overwhelming well-coordinated enemy and the 4th Reich is just around the corner and I find that very comforting.

Yes that is indeed amusing. Another good reason I recommend listening to them is to learn how to be a serious political activist. 
I have seen how some of the more popular shows at least try to be vehicles for their desired policies, and therefore focus their audiences on important political items (primaries, budgets, policies) and suggest actions to be taken in consequence. 
Which is a stark contrast with the slop that makes up the supposedly conservative commentary, whose audience seems satisfied with vapid commentary about the most sensational novelty taking place in social media, never caring for follow-through on policy outcomes.
