First ever would be Naruto on tv or maybe something no one would consider an anime like the 80s transformer cartoon that was animated in Japan by Toei. First 'proper' non-normalfag anime that turned me into a weaboo/otaku would be Nichijou.

Yu-Gi-Oh, my brain couldn't understand what the fuck was going on which the only other anime on tv at the time was Digimon Beyblade and Pokemon I knew of.

I didn't really know what anime was at the time and didn't really actively consider watching  until over 15 years later because of personal experience with video games.
