Scrapers are just shitholes run by 3rd worlders, most of them suck because they got a fuckton of intrusive ads and might just put shitty watermarks all over the pages. Oh and good luck scrapping anything if no one is doing anything. Best outcome would be another site that allow public uploads but don't care about those kike corps and their dmca.

Scanlators and translation groups might offer downloads. Nyaa suck for translated manga, but there is still some stuff on it. If you can read jap, raws are still unaffected and I think Nyaa is better for raw and there is also https://dlraw.to/. I've seen people mention comick.io in the mangadex forum thread about this but it's still too soon for a mangadex successors to take the throne.

I agree, fuck the one asking for money. If you ask for donations it should go mostly towards the site's infracstructure. The translation should be motivated by passion. If I wanted to see what passion replaced by greed look like I'd go for official translation that have been enriched with nigger-queer inclusivity(tm)

Sadly raws are rougher to obtain than translations. If something is not on DLRaw it's not going to be anywhere. And also, DLRaw uses those shitty filehosts with 100 kbps download speed (unless you pay sheckels). If a manga has an official digital release and you're willing to burn some cash you can use those official Japanese "apps" to read raws and maybe even scrape from them.
Fuck scanlators for keeping raws to themselves and fuck japs for worshiping copyright so much.

In some cases, the scanlators just want to protect their ass since the actual scanner or web-ripper will get into more trouble than the translator but they should still upload raws alongside the translation. Japs have been the ones sending us that stuff back in the day but their corporate culture is heavily outdated, inflexible and retarded. The worst is that japs are too autistic about fitting in the mold and are just as inflexible so you get a ton of bootlicking cocksuckers.

I've found good luck with just entering manga name + chapter #, lots of sites running similar looking UI and having a reuploads of scanlations.

This I found was using consistently better sources for scans (probably MD), at least for the manga I'm currently reading. 
Also looks like it has ability to switch between sources, but they are unmarked so if I wanted to read Niggatoro with stalker translation I would have to guess which one is right one. 
Kind of a pain.
