I agree, no idea how bad it got there since I haven't been there in a long time but last time I checked it was just basically shitting on everyone else for having different tastes and crying about dubs. 
Just simply checked out and lurked on smug for a while since options were limited.

I had hope halfchan would have a period of grace before all the low quality tourists come back but seem I had false hopes. I also hope others find their way here, it's comfier when threads are slower and you can expect others to not be on 50layers of ironical irony or just outright be trolls.

I don't think a seasonal thread would be so bad but having a thread for every new anime  would be awful.  There needs to be some sort of organization.

It could work this way as long there isn't any race war between the different anime. That being said, pretty sure all those thread with be filled by the same people anyway so better just combine them than flood the catalog.

Don't try to solve problems that you don't have.

I think smug already has general upcoming seasonal threads anyway, at least last I looked at their a board, so that should be fine to emulate without making individual ones for everything. On that topic, a Kobayashi movie is coming in June.
