I tolerated a few episodes of that trash for a former friend. On the scale of wholesome entertainment to full zog propaganda, I'd only give it a five or something. The gems are basically an alien race of HIV viruses that infect planets to make more AIDS. Honestly the premise is workable because it's taken from houseki no kuni + some colonial oppression narrative sprinkled in for lefty appeal. The gems also have an ability where the fuse and form a mighty faggot. It's implied that these are like sexual/romantic relationships, and, obviously, homosexual ones, since there are no males.
All of this irrelevant because the writers are incapable of writing coherent characters and advancing a plot, and the team took months to animate shitty 5 minute SoL episodes. Sure the show has a progressive worldview, but it's so vapid that the most significant political content is just a bunch of lesbians raping each other, and how that's definitely vaguely a bad thing. What really makes it soy tier is the willingness of all parties to make and consume low effort trash and praise it to high heavens. Also lead writer is jewish, duh.
