They do lie about everything, but how far the lies go?
How far their corona death curve deviated from the reality?
When they announced chip manufacturing, what initiatives did they actually succeed at and failed? AFAIK they secured some land, investors and some local talents but those weren't enough and the whole thing failed.
China is indeed a land run by fools, but they still have enough money to push people into working for them. Like the case where they bought US company (Segway) to get its patent and then claimed self-balancing scooters was their invention.
They don't really have any reason to play fair, which is actually an advantage in some sciences e.g.
1. They once had a scientist using CRISPR to modify a baby's gene.
2. They did a hostile takeover of ARM and all its technologies to help their own chipmaking business
To link back onto the thread's topic, I'm more interested about how far China has actually progressed in this venture. For those bugmen scientists, money is a given. Now what other pieces of technologies that they need to actually get it working and where will they steal them?
