Why is he pushing that rock? Why are you pushing it?

I don't know why I do this, it is a pointless struggle that is neither in my interests, nor it will improve my life, nor it has good intentions behind it.

Sisyphus never succeeds yet his fame surpassed that of many who did.
>>333134 (OP)
Because we are enthralled to do so
>>333134 (OP)
because it is F*N!
do you know what f*n is?
have you ever done anything for f*n?
sisyphus doesn't need a reason to push the rock, pushing the rock is its own reward.

Why is he pushing that rock? Why are you pushing it?
Because
Captain Kirk is pushing a rock. Why is he pushing a rock?

In hope that pushing the rock will become easier, then he focus on the task and let his mind go blank
Does the rock have magical properties? Surely the friction through time would wear it down till it became nothing, or at least light enough where he can just carry it.

Meh, Star trek was good for the character writing (not Voyager) and the anomalies they dealt with were interesting especially on Next Generation
But you weren't missing out of much by not watching it, some of the shit that they were trying to push was retarded like genetic engineering is bad and you have to let the strangers in, it was trying to infect the viewer with a maladaptive world view, that is why you get fucking poojeets that think that if white people didn't conquer the world and take the shit they think they had, they'd be living in a hedonistic debauched galactic Empire (they think it will be enlightened) that is supported by the Star Trek level technology, the ethos of star Trek feeds into that, that why I hold it as fun but not meaningful.

I only watched some of the OG Trek, in the 80's (one of the many re-runs). It was cool at the time, but part of that is because I was young and could believe all the future utopia shit, and the other part is it was all new (to me anyway). So later they made more series, and other different space shows, but I just don't care about this at all. I never even bothered to watch any of the new Star Trek movies, although I did catch some glimpses of them at a relative's house.
At this point, D&D seems more believable than future space utopia. Also I missed out on these computer games back in the day. I did play lots of tabletop though, when it was just Basic and 1st edition, and the very beginnings of 2nd edition (which was 95% compatible).
