People need each other during a crisis. Peple would buy your rigged cords for lb of acorn powder that they washed the tannins out of, frog jerky, etc. Using resistors and capacitors and basic wiring to lower 12v to 5v and to make sure the amps stay low just takes resistors and other ewaste. A junkyard is full of the components to take a car's alternator output and make it from 12v of far too much amps to 5v and low amps to charge cellphones that are all over the place. Making a shunt linear regulator is just raw parts and a soldering iron is just retardedly easy. If you made a desoldering wick from braded copper wires with pine tree resin on them mixed with alcohol it'd work to give you all the solder you need from broken electronics. getting around on a bicycle all day you'll be physically fit and happier for it and will plow your snaggle-toothed gf all day long and yet you think this is a bad idea.
