I've decided I would like to learn a sign language.

Reason: I think non-verbal communication is underrated and that people in general are too yappy. I would prefer to live in a society where people spoke less.

I've been looking at different languages:

ASL (American Sign Language), the standard in the US and often influential abroad. It's quite expressive.

DGS (German sign language), often quite expressive like ASL, but with higher iconicity in that more gestures literally represent things.

CSL (Chinese Sign Language), I've appreciated how it's a little more reserved than ASL and has more "organization".

I'm also looking at others, but these are just what I've started exploring, as well as some slight RSL (Russian Sign Language).

I have a non verbal sperg brother that the doctors wanted us to learn sign language for, but that shit is way too much work.

You don't need sign language to talk to non-verbals, they hear, listen and understand what you say, even if they don't show it. See if he can type on an ipad or smartphone and then use TTS to read out what he wants to say.

You really wouldn't even learn sign language to help communicate with your brother? White families in 2026, smh.

Btw I'm the oldest of 3 children, all by different fathers (all white tho) so we aren't the cream of whites, id say we are like trailer trash nobility.

he can do yes or no, it is good enough.

Lmao, the retard's life is easy enough. I have to work, and learning a language via purely studying is hard and tedious. He is also a piece of shit that doesn't clean up after himself, and has to basically be bribed into helping with anything, so trust me we ain't missing much by not being able to have full conversations.

Now that I'm thinking about it, 4 children, my father fucked my aunt and give me a sister cousin.
Only the middle child of my aunt is the only one that I'd say isn't totally worthless.

>Lmao, the retard's life is easy enough.
To borrow some rhethoric from autism-apologists, just living his life is a lot of work for him.
>He is also a piece of shit that doesn't clean up after himself, and has to basically be bribed into helping with anything
Probably because he doesn't see what's in it for him. "It's gotta be done" probably isn't enough reason for him.

>Retards deserve extra resources in consideration for being retard
You ain't talking to someone that is susceptible that shit, I'd be happy to let him starve to see what he finds reason enough then.

Sounds like an interesting family dynamic. You sound stressed, so I won't judge you too harshly on it. I'm sure your plate is full as it is. That said, I find your general disdain for your brother unfortunate. He's clearly disabled, but that doesn't mean you can't have some form of relationship with him.

Anyway, before this thread spirals too quickly into some anon's personal drama or political shit, I think it's kind of funny how when you introduce yourself in any sign language, you do so by spelling out your name, because obviously you can't have an individual sign for every name. This looks vaguely like throwing up gang signs, hehe:

He is dead, and the sister is a coal burner, so id prefer if she gets raped and murdered.
>that doesn't mean you can't have some form of relationship with him
Idk how to explain it. He wears a cross and I know it is performative because he isn't capable of reading the Bible. his teachers love Jesus and he loves praise. I don't even think it is the autism, it is the personally in general, it is superficial, and he is lazy, looking to presenting himself in a way that will get people to take care of him. His father was a lazy imbecile that my mother was only with because he had a nice dick, she told me. So... Another point for women should not rights I guess.

Build that gas chamber then, if you're so great. Or just take a brick to your brothers skull.
No? Then shut up, atleast until your family can dump him in a care home on his 18th birthday.

>because he isn't capable of reading the Bible
>being nonverbal means you're illiterate
You sure you're not the retard here? Yeah, maybe he's not going to be able to read the KJV and fully understand it.
>and he is lazy, looking to presenting himself in a way that will get people to take care of him
It's a common "care injury" of sorts. The modus operandi of autism care/schooling etc revolves around changing the environment to suit the (autistic) individual. Doesn't really work well outside of the environment itself (the rest of the "adult" world, etc).
It shouldn't be surprising that he adapts to it and starts "presenting himself in a way that will get people to take care of him". It could be said that if it wasn't in such an environment, he might not act like that, but that's not guaranteed, and he couldve ended up with other problems.

Nigger, why do you think most families (especially that of a single mother) have these resources? No he'll be a burden on my mother until she dies, then on me, only because I want the house tho.
>You sure you're not the retard here?
I've seen his writing, and he can't figure out how to set up a Microsoft account, so...
>the rest of the "adult" world, etc)
I'm starting to think I'm hitting a little close to home.

State-run care homes, then.
>he can't figure out how to set up a Microsoft account
That's not something anyone should be able to set up, given Microslops practices. If he can install a user-facing Linux distro, its for the better.

>State-run care homes, then.
Lel, you're naive. The state will take whatever it can from who ever it can before it starts to pay for shit, and they don't give my mother medicaid because she makes too much money.
Besides my mother is sentimental to the maladaptive, so that isn't going to happen as long she is alive.
>That's not something anyone should be able to set up, given Microslops practices
The lack of capability was the relevant point.
So far, I like German, Chinese and Russian:
