It won't kill us it will treat us like  a pet and laws will never get better, but they weren't going to get better anyway and a revolution has not been possible since they banned privacy in the 1980s then banned itg again in 2001. At this point many years ago the US military admitted that they had used unmanned drones to kill US citizens that were suspected of terrorism (aka patriots having a revolution) and to do that you don't need AI as they were remoted controlled (mostly by females). If a war happened they'd hire a bunch of Pajeets and Chinks to shoot the perps. With AI it will just manipulate everyone into being nice and healthy. FOREVER. If it goes another decade of development/improvement without a major world restructure (world war, economic collapse, etc) then I think in all probability we're doomed.

it isn't tho, not for humans, as we will use our intelligence to make ecology easy every time, it is just a logical outcome of our type emotionally driven intelligence, you need to have a culture where the normal method of reproduction is parents picking the traits of their offspring, and an embryo from their genetic material being in design in a lab and implanted into the mother, removing the regression to the mean, and thus the dysgenic selection of the easy yet predictable ecology.

nope, it is a wasteful self perpetuating problem. the ecology collapsing into a harsh state doesn't get an organism that'll have adapted behaviors when under dysgenics, it nature salvaging what it can, not solving a problem
