When I first listened to this song I thought it was about an unreliable narrator who victimizes and pities themselves for the backlash they receive for their behavior, impotently and spergfully imagining their unjustified revenge on all those who wronged him/her, though I guess the lyrics may be taken at face value, I couldn't believe the band would intend that latter however.
