I'm trying to make a new kind of hack'n'slash, which puts a lot more emphasis on movement and aiming.

I only recently found my way back to AGDG but I'm close to for the first time finishing a game. 

Among Stars and Robots
This is a puzzle game where you program a robot to get to the goal using a looping list of commands. It's a continuation of our Ludum Dare 47 entry that's playable in your browser so no need to download anything.

IWad: Mainly tested for freedoom/doom, other iwad may or may not work. 

It's a mod where you play as a miniaturized tank, currently my enemy replacer mod is heavily outdated so it's recommended to play with a enemy replacer mod that increases their difficulty instead of playing against stock doom monsters. Don't forget to check the controls option so that you can change the primary ammo. No items are replaced, supplies are provided with a supply smoke grenade where you have to launch it and once the crate is landed you have to press enter to unbox its items.  
Weapons
Cannon:
Fires different ammunition types.
APHE = Single Target, does 2nd most damage.
APFSDS = Single Target, does the most damage.
HE = Multi Target, heavy damage.
Chemical = Area of Denial effect.
Bee = Fires projectiles in a widespread pattern.

Coax-gun:
Light Machinegun and Heavy Machinegun, no special operation. 

Multi Purpose Device:
Repair = Repair yourself for 10 spare parts
Reclaim = Close quarter, silent.

No the reason is because I rewrote the player class code so that it takes advance of A_Warp() call which effectively eliminates Zandronum support. Zandronum is several years behind in recent Decorate additions and the lack of ZScript support makes adding new features more difficult.

Using the Brutal Doom tank code makes it very difficult to expand the class with more features. Currently I haven't added any class specific feature because I was most of the time busy cleaning up the messy code structure, if I wanted to add a function where the camouflage can be changed or different models it would require tons of code as I would have to call A_SpawnItemEx() on every state so that the chassis is visible.

I've mostly been on 8chan's agdg board/threads, since I didn't know this site had them as well (plus I figured there would be some overlap between posters anyways).
Anyways, I whipped up a shitty playable thing in time for demo day, it's very unpolished but more than I've had before. It's a barebones roguelike so far, but I don't expect much more than "neat" until I get more done. And if nobody cares, it just means I need to do better for next time

Stealth fps/tps with barely implemented rpg mechanics. Has a bunch of cool shit like a big open level, bartering, light and sound detection, npcs with squad ai, etc. 
This is a basic demo more or less for refinement/debugging. It's basically rolled back in terms of features since there is a lot of stuff we haven't fixed or finished yet.
No real story yet just an assassination and atmosphere. We'll have an improved version out in two weeks as we know this is rough.

Most projects we've seen over the years are the same anons starting new projects, not an influx of new users. Man what a turbulent time it is these days, imageboards dying left and right due to various stuff happening such as the julay meltdown, hotwheels stepping down which resulted 8chins getting taken over by jim watkins just later to fuck over all anons that are into loli, then hotwheels becomes a soygoblin and backstabs all the anons and dropping his principles he stood for before, then the thing with fatchan getting shut down whose details escapes me. And even more stories that I have forgotten. This is some abstract kind of feeling, still it bets being stuck in a shitty no freeze speach forum or any other damn places these days.

I have a tor browser ready to use but I use only when I have to, because its annoying having to deal with the slow connection speed it has which becomes more profound on threads that have tons of dumped images or let alone trying to download a large file over the tor browser. With different dns it seems I'm shit out of luck because I tried to change on loonix my hostfile so that it uses a different dns server and it didn't worked for me even when I changed so that my connection only goes to that alternative dns, there is no plugin for palememe either that adds support for alternative dns.

The problem is that this already exists, millchan, and it runs on zeronet. There's even 08chan, that a few anon used, until someone figured out that since you have no global moderation, anyone can upload cheese pizza or spam the boards to hell, and everyone ran away. Okay, moderation lists were a bit at infancy stage at that time time. And it didn't help that the only public list were made by moralfags who thought it's a good idea to put loli and literal CP into the same list

TBH you don't have to use tor browser if you're not super worried about privacy. Tor is just a bog standard SOCKS proxy, every browser supports it. What Tor Browser is good for that it tries to close various IP leak and fingerprinting technologies. If you only care about accessing sites that are not malicious but are being constantly deplatformed by ISPs, it's not that necessary.

-Snowfall triggers in Bel Canto are bugged thanks to the original game's clumsy event setup- in-between rewiring the events for day 2 rehearsal something got really broken. 
-still using placeholder art- most of what you see is the original game's art or stock assets, with recolors for new characters

-Did more raw writing for content that precedes the Secret-Final-Arc

Fair point, I have fairly decent download speed so on most site it is not a problem. Yeah it fucking sucks when ISP are acting like a bunch of kikes and wants to still stick with the inferior copper cables so that they can nickle and dime the customer more with abysmal upload speed, and that some of these even offer only limited data volume to cripple the internet access even more.

This is obviously very early but I like the sword swinging implementation, especially with the trail. It's a bit floaty and I didn't like that you can't run and swing you sword at the same time. I couldn't tell if that is a bug or not because you can swing your sword while jumping which means continually jumping is currently the best way to play. Overall it's solid.

I know there wasn't too muhc to show off. I usually burn out on projects after 3 or so months, and don't get very far. In this case, I was focusing more on the tile data to have a solid base to build from and didn't get much attention to the player/entities yet. Hopefully next quarter will be even better.
