Post heavy metal
Right back at ya'
Hell yeah, I love old Savatage.
>Instruments of Destruction
I never asked for these feels.
I find it mind boggling to this day anyone thought killing off the entire G1 cast was ever a good idea. I know it was to hype up and sell the toys from the new characters, but that still doesn't change the fact it was a retarded move only the most out of touch corporate suit could make.
I still can't help but love the movie though, but yeah It was a retarded move.
most of their lyrics mean absolutely nothing unless you're stoned off your ass, they're buried under so much obscurity and irony you'll hurt yourself trying to find a deep meaning
I want to argue that BYOB is not obscure at all in my opinion, but then again, I am a stoner.
>Instruments of Destruction
>But no symphony
I am disappointed.
This fucking song again you fucking pleb. Listen to fucking something more patrician like Lucretia at least you fucking mainstream fucking nigger.
Listen to some motherfucking Chris Poland too while your at it because that motherfucking motherfucker can play like a motherfucker.
tornado of souls is besterest from rust in peace
You forgot hanger 18 buddy?
no, tornado of souls is betterst
Oh BYOB and 2 minutes to midnight are fine, but symphony of destruction is where your faggot ass draws the line.
Some mainstream shit while formulaic is still pleasant to hear, that's how I decide what's good or not in an entirely subjective motherfucking medium, If I like it or not, It being mainstream or some fucking garage band's unreleased demo does not ever play a motherfucking role because why would It.
Is this better or let me guess, you're gonna say it's not heavy metal I bet.
>Im eating shit but I like it so I dont care what you think about it
>not heavy metal
Because it's not? It's rock or something. Joe is good but if you think he's better than Marty or Chris Poland you're mistaken.
The only good thing about tornado of souls is the guitar solo and the only thing people care about that song is the one guitar solo near the end. And hanger 18 is 90% guitar solo so mathematically speaking, it's better than tornado of souls.
apparently the lead guitarist for Demons & Wizards was caught on video at the Great Capitol Shitpost of 2021 spraying a cop with bear spray. He turned himself in a few days later and Hansi Kursch went full "friendship end with Jon" and D&W is now kill. Damn shame.
I kind of respect him for that. Not as much as I respect him for his machine gun right hand though.
Why did he do that?
past 1:35, when it stops resembling a silent lucidity ripoff, the gunslinger is one of the best metal songs I've heard
F Mikio Fujioka
not strictly metal, but hardest shit patton's done in a while
Damn he's still doin thangs?
dead cross was pre covid iirc but yeah
his label is ipecac, he tends to do a song or album with the artists he signs
his discography has grown pretty big, all over the map stylistically though
and not always great now, like that last faith no more
Hey at least he's keeping busy. Prolific fucker. I'll check some of it out, had no idea he was still doing stuff, and collaborating with bands he signs sounds like there could be some really good stuff in there though maybe not what I'd expect.
>work for nigger's pay
Supreme songwriting, the solo hits like a wrecking ball. They were fucking great when their style was more US Metal than Prog Metal. Nothing they do will ever surpass the first EP.
>Post heavy metal
Oh I'm dumb, the archive password is "muro". Kinda suprised his site still exists
are there any metal flowcharts that would help me find new shit?
Just start wherever. It's all shit :^)
Deathwish made an interactive metal map some years ago you might find that useful
Heavy metal is gey.
Could anyone post some Type O Negative?
>21st century schizoid man
i want to do a Terry tribute with that song
Blind Guardian has some very good moments, but you have to dig through a lot of stuff to get to them.
Hallelujah is great.
Agreed. People are also divided over A Night at the Opera, I think it's pretty good for the most part since I'm more into a blend of power and prog metal. Precious Jerusalem and Battlefield are both great, as well as And Then There Was Silence but it's 32MB so I can't post it.
Postan some of my library
